Nader wants a nationalized health care system, I stopped after that. If to even vote for one candidate, it would truly be for Ron Paul even though he's off the ballot. His "crazy" ideas don't seem so crazy after all, imo.

He's no messiah. He's an idealist whose views resonate with me in a lot of ways. I can't speak for everyone else, but it's not like I trust the hardcore liberal stuff either (and I myself am a strong liberal.) If they have an apparent bias as strong as newsmax or dailykos, I just write off most of what they say.

They're odd. They do give some conservatives room to talk (including some with credibility) but they also have a clear bias. I, for the record, like Maddow, used to like Olbermann, and never liked Matthews.

I liked Tucker Carlson a lot. He would do weekly spots on Bubba the Love Sponge on Sirius. It just seems to me personally that MSNBC has totally jumped the shark for Obama. It's like they're fearing the fairness doctrine will come back and it for some reason will effect TV too. I know that sounds dumb and saying it outloud makes it sound even dumber but it just seems to me that NBC, ABC, & CBS have made it very loud and very clear that they support Obama to a point where you won't even get a view outside of what they want.

Does not asking Biden if Obama is a socialist make them in the pocket for Obama? I mean, there is such an insane misunderstanding of Socialism in America, that it's, IMO, not responsible to even talk about. Which is pretty fucking terrible.
There's also a sense that a lot of the issues were dealt with during the primaries. Wright doesn't need to be covered; it was covered to hell and back earlier this year. Ayers has been covered more than enough. Etc.

Anyways, the fairness doctrine may or may not affect cable TV. I'm not sure about the public ownership status of cable wires. It would surely affect broadcast TV and radio though.

I still can't beleive that after 8 years of Scare Tactic politics, people will still fall for it. One of my Friend's Mom still thinks Obama is a Muslin terrorist in a sleeper cell. She can't beleive people would vote to put someone like that so close the the "Button".
