For those who believe no proof is required, for those who do not believe, no proof is ever enough. Watching some of these people the last few weeks have made my eyes hurt from so much rolling.

It is fun to watch the worst of both parties, especially as we get closer to the big day. Seems I have learned more about the 'big 4' in the last few weeks than I have in the past several months, and no, that isn't a crack at Palin.

That was probably the most unprofessional question I've ever heard a reporter ask, for one specific reason: it supposes a conclusion as part of the question. It's a loaded question. I find it hilarious that some people think this type of question is legitimate, and fair journalism: it's practically a textbook example of a loaded question. In fact, it's such a good example, they should use it AS the textbook example.

I also find it funny that Conservatives are hedging that "Sarah Palin received worse treatment" from the media. People really believe this to be the case! I dare any conservatives here to find any question Palin has fielded that have been anywhere as illegitimate.

Media Research Center Founder and President L. Brent Bozell, III today demanded the press report on damning new evidence of Illinois Democratic Senator and Presidential nominee Barack Obama's radical views on how we need to "break free from the essential constraints that were placed by the founding fathers in the Constitution" because it "doesn't say what the federal government or state government must do on your behalf." In tearing away from the Constitution, Sen. Obama says he seeks to achieve "social justice" through "redistributive change."

In the 2001 Chicago Public Radio interview, the audio of which has just surfaced, Sen. Obama laments that "the Supreme Court never ventured into the issues of redistribution of wealth, and of more basic issues such as political and economic justice in society."

The media have refused to report on or obfuscated what has now become a series of comments from Sen. Obama that indicate a radical outlook on America, wealth redistribution and the courts. He famously told "Joe the Plumber" (Samuel Joseph Wurzelbacher) that we need to "spread the wealth around." On his nominees for the courts, he said "We need somebody who's got the heart, the empathy, to recognize what it's like to be a young teenage mom. The empathy to understand what it's like to be poor, or African-American, or gay, or disabled, or old. And that's the criteria by which I'm going to be selecting my judges."

What better way to satisfy her GOP shill husband's clients than to ask questions loaded with Repub talking points and loaded language. Personally I think Biden's on-air reaction to her questions was completely approriate, and the subsequent notice to this station that they are blacklisted from interviewing anyone involved with the campaign again are completely warranted.

First of all, the fairness doctrine, properly implemented, would have had no objections to that interview, because it had both sides. Unless you think having both sides being presented is a liberal idea. In which case, what the fuck?

Second of all, the question was faulty. The programs proposed have been considered socialist, not communist. The quote she had, "From each according to his abilities, to each according to his needs" is the definition of communism. "From each according to his abilities, to each according to his work done" is the definition of socialism according to Marx. If she's going to quote, quote the right fucking thing. Now, political discourse in this country is so stupid that even if Biden knew what she said was faulty (I don't know if he did), he wouldn't be allowed to say that because you aren't allowed to actually know anything about Marx's work, only that it's bad. So he had to laugh.

And yes, the idea that Obama wants to turn this country into a true socialist country is laughable.

About couple pages, ago I asked you why the DMV is a place that no one enjoys going to to get their license renewed. If Obama wants to create more government jobs in this manner, I'm not for him. I think the public school system needs reform as soon as possible. Many teachers are underpaid, under skilled, and complain about their work environment. They still do it with a smile of course. Why? Because they'll never get fired for underachieving.

I believe, I KNOW that a healthy system works because of creativity in the private work force. More people want to work for company a because that pays well and offers incentive to move up. How do you move up if you're working as a secretary in the department of water works? You don't. You reap the benefits of having a safe, secure job with great benefits like health care and a wonderful pension plan. To me, seems like giving up and going for mediocre.

You want mediocre? Fine bring on more taxes.
