Can't watch YouTube at work, but I will view it when I get home tonight. If it's from the dailyshow, I'm sure it will be hilarious.
I should post some of my pics of dead iraqi bodies while I was downrange to see if it'll affect those who support the war any, considering this is "God's war" and all according to Palin.
Yeah, got to love the pro-life propaganda if you're pro-choice you cheer every time a baby is killed and those that have an abortion are committing infanticide. They went even as far as take pictures of young women that went into planned parenthood and posted them up all over town.
I don't get the "God's war" part of her speech honestly. This war is so unconstitutional and our troops need to be home, however; it seems to me that the news doesn't want to report on things like the Anbar province getting turned back over and same with Fellujah soon. I didn't get deployed on OEF / OIF I was at the Pentagon, however; my brother looks like he's going to go out with 26th MEU here sometime soon. That scares me...
Yes they absolutely do. The court's job is not to create or enforce law, but to interpret it according to existing law, judicial precedent and the Constitution. Since the Constitution doesn't forbid the Courts from issuing opinions on such matters (The 1st Amendment applies to Congress), they are allowed to make such a decision.
The "infanticide" thing is, iirc, mostly referring to a vote where Obama voted that it was legal for a doctor who gave a newborn a 0% survival rate the choice to not spend resources on keeping that baby alive.
That, and his general Pro-Choice stance (I doubt he's pro abortion though, it's not that fucking simple)
EDIT: Here's the details of the "infanticide" bullshit http://www.factcheck.org/elections-2...fanticide.html
There is a quote that is almost 2500 years old that still rings true and think of it everytime someone tells me that the Iraq war was justified and we must attack Iran next.
"War is sweet to those who have no experience of it, but the experienced man trembles exceedingly at heart on its approach."
I love when pro-lifers treat Planned Parenthood like it's an abortion factory, as opposed to a comprehensive sex (not just pregnancy)-related services facility.
When I talk to my male friends about STDs and testing and such, and they inquire where they can go to get tested, none of them ever think of Planned Parenthood, and it's a shame.
Kind of irrelevant when he holds all the same positions and will continue to pressure Iran in the same manner.
McCain may sound insane and warmonger-y, and Obama may sound diplomatic and peaceful, but the larger issue is their policies are the same. They both want to continue meddling with the Middle East, and they both want to continue policing Russia and Iran.
That is not good policy, trust me.
Big difference though when you consider Mccain does not want to talk to Iran. War should always be a last resort when you're freedom is endangered. Not because you want to instill your beliefs into a foreign nation to boost your ego and insure you have a lasting legacy.
What freedom is endangered by Iran?
Whose point? It's none of the R/D candidates point, they both think Iran is a huge threat.
