Terrible justification for going to war. There is no reason to attack Iran unless Iran attacks the US, and that doesn't mean we go and occupy and then rebuild them. If Iran attacks us, we decimate their army, kill their leaders, and peace the fuck out.

I though the president had the authority to command the armed forces for up to 60 days without congressional authorization or something. But I just looked at the constitution and there's nothing in there like that so I dunno.

Sounds like the idea that Iran would go nuke crazy is based more on paranoia and a need to misunderstand the cultures of others and label them as evil, than actually looking at it somewhat objectively.
