I think we should stop being big brother to a nation that instead of being a bastion of freedom and equality (like they should have been, after a bunch of white people owned them) instead chose to oppress the citizens of the country they came to inhabit, kick them out, and use their military power and support to bully its neighbors.

Israel put Israel into its position in the Arab world, it will need to end its hubris to get itself out. If it chooses not to, then they deserve to be destroyed. Arab countries are not unreasonable, they would rather not have to be at war just like any other people. Our presence there, supporting a country that feels its borders actually stretch to the Tigris and would initiate that war at the drop of a hat militarily, but on the other hand tell the nations it would destroy that they cannot defend themselves is ridiculous.

America too, deserves to be destroyed if it ignores its hubris abroad.

I'm glad you'd send me to Iran in 2008-2012 because you don't understand the Constitution, blowback, or the fact that your politician is no different foreign policy wise than any other. A foreign policy that has failed for over 60 years.

Wow, you have me pegged so wrong. I have never, in my life, given support for the Iraq War. Where are you pulling that out of?

At this point I don't think we can piss them off any more in terms of them causing civilian deaths because they're gonna continue to get their revenge in whether we support Israel or not. Dropping our support of Israel now isn't gonna stop them from hating us it's way too late for that. Personally I don't think anyone will all out attack them as long as we are supporting them but in the event they do I think we could fight them off with little trouble since Israel's military is no push over itself. This is all excluding nuclear weapons from the argument because nobody is retarded enough to use them without expecting retaliation from most of the nations of the world.

I'm sure you're knowledge of the constitution supercedes that of the Supreme court, Congress and the Presidency combined congrats.

Not sure if you're trolling anymore, but I agree for the most part with your stance. No one can mind after themselves, and that's what leads to all this bullshit.

Just because the people in office fail to follow the Constitution, it doesn't mean that they don't understand what it says and what its intent was.

Knowing about it doesn't seem to stop them from ignoring it.

Everything you said is 100% correct.

It's also extremely shortsighted and misses the grander point of all of this - "way too late for that..." or "when does it end".

There is no solution, short term, to end this. Even if we changed our entire foreign policy and apologized for the last 60 years publicly, you'd still see violence. However, 20 years from now, when my kids are growing up, they won't have a plane flown into their field trip.

If Churchill is agreeing with Ron Paul's positions, then he's not trolling; if he's acting like a neocon then the troll switch is on. It's not too hard to tell (for me, at least).

I'm positive that a great deal of people in all of those offices know what the Constitution says much better than I, but that doesn't mean they understand it better. You're also ignoring the fact that this country hasn't followed that document in quite a few years, that annal goes back much more than 60.

We shouldn't stop propping up Israel because we are afraid of blowback.

We should stop propping up Israel because they have a very advanced, fully functioning military, including nuclear weapons, and we aren't getting much of a return on our absurdly expensive investment.

Show me where it says the government can tax its people.

Show me where it says Congress can delegate its power to print, issue, and control money.

Tell me why we are even discussing the marriage rights of gay people.

Why are drugs like Marijuana illegal.

    Someone else take over...

"Section 8. The Congress shall have power to lay and collect taxes, duties, imposts and excises, to pay the debts and provide for the common defense and general welfare of the United States; but all duties, imposts and excises shall be uniform throughout the United States; " edited to include the whole part

This has been proven (5, 6 times?) by the Supreme Court through examination of the Constitution and the ideals and wishes of the founding fathers to mean that the Constitution does not refer to an income tax, but that taxing is okay when it is equal. For example, your gas tax is equal to my gas tax. This is exactly what the document refers to.

The Supreme Court ruled that an income tax was illegal because you were taxing a trade between two people, I trade you my time and work for money, or vice-versa.

That was a trap question, you fell in first. In before "Then why do we get taxed" in which case I'll point to my previous statements about not following the Constitution.
