There is no reason why you shouldn't be offered healthcare from your government. Its not like saying "YOU MUST USE US AND ONLY US" its saying you can use them. You seem to have an unreasonable fear of the government, but that's no reason that people should die because they can't afford the healthcare they deserve.

Obama will not go to war with Iran, assuming they dont have every intention of nuking us, it won't happen. What the fuck do you know? I recently broke my arm and had the thing in a cast asap. They kept up on me on when I had to do what with what surgeries and gave me all the medications I needed. Currently the U.S. gov and its private medical industry spends an overwhelming amount of money on biomedical research, much more so than any other country. Would you be ok with cutting development for new medicine & drugs to cover the cost of increased health care coverage? Do you believe its necessary?

12 of the top 20 pharmaceutical companies in the world are based in America. If the government ends up regulating the price of drugs to cover the cost of increased health coverage(like Canada and the UK have done), wouldn't our R&D take a huge hit? Or would the government cover the cost with a tax hike?
