Please show me a demonstration of thousands of pro-life atheist Libertarians.
I'm still waiting for a reasonable definition of life.
Also, though most humans do, I don't have a logical reason (besides instinct) why we defend human life.

(ok 2 out of 3)
I'm a Libertarian because I believe that the defense of liberty is the most important duty of any reasonable citizen, and liberty pertains both to those given to us by nature and those given to us by the state. Life, and the logical chance at life, is the most important liberty we all have.
I said that a large percentage of them were anti-war because it was popular, not because they had a logical understanding of all the factors involved. Do you disagree with this? Also, with that said, I still think it's good for all of us who do have a logical reason to stop American Imperialism that an anti-war gathering attracts thousands of people. I was more commenting that criticizing.
so when someone is sick and logically could continue to live if they undergo expensive medical procedures that they may not be able to afford... you'd defend that?
So the potential life's liberty trumps the mother's liberty. I suppose you'll just have to deal with the consequences of your choice. By this virtue, i hope you also respect the right of these women to disagree with your moral judgement and to choose to defend and uphold their liberty, which you trump with your moral outlook, even if they have to break the law to do so.
You sound confused as shit right now Pohibaba. So many damn technicalities/contradictions to your views.
well, what is it? you want to have control over all your assets which would prevent compulsory giving into a public healthcare system to not protect that "logical chance at life" but you'd simultaneously deny a woman control over all her assets to protect another "logical chance at life".
A definition of life:
1. Homeostasis: Regulation of the internal environment to maintain a constant state; for example, sweating to reduce temperature.
2. Organization: Being composed of one or more cells, which are the basic units of life.
3. Metabolism: Consumption of energy by converting nonliving material into cellular components (anabolism) and decomposing organic matter (catabolism). Living things require energy to maintain internal organization (homeostasis) and to produce the other phenomena associated with life.
4. Growth: Maintenance of a higher rate of synthesis than catabolism. A growing organism increases in size in all of its parts, rather than simply accumulating matter. The particular species begins to multiply and expand as the evolution continues to flourish.
5. Adaptation: The ability to change over a period of time in response to the environment. This ability is fundamental to the process of evolution and is determined by the organism's heredity as well as the composition of metabolized substances, and external factors present.
6. Response to stimuli: A response can take many forms, from the contraction of a unicellular organism when touched to complex reactions involving all the senses of higher animals. A response is often expressed by motion, for example, the leaves of a plant turning toward the sun or an animal chasing its prey.
7. Reproduction: The ability to produce new organisms. Reproduction can be the division of one cell to form two new cells. Usually the term is applied to the production of a new individual (either asexually, from a single parent organism, or sexually, from at least two differing parent organisms), although strictly speaking it also describes the production of new cells in the process of growth.
But like I said, the definition of life is subjective to your own mores. And there is are many examples of life that doesn't fit into the definition that I posted.
this conversation is so stupid.
He wants people to live - not die. Everyone does.
Sometimes it's just not logical to help everyone all the time. It's called life. We don't live in a damned Utopia.
