If anyone is interested, there's a few private servers for the GameCube version of PSO. Although I think I'm one of a handful of people who actually have the broadband adapter for GC, lol. My friend and I still play Co-Op every so often, it's such a fun game to burn time on that I always come back to it. I've done a 200 FOnewm 170 HUcast 200 RAcast and a few others around 100~. One of my favorite accomplishments was completing a S-Rank on the Challenge Mode online with JP players. I named my own Mech-Guns after my HUcast Punisher, Punisher Mech-Guns! :D

My HUcast is currently the only character i've leveled completely without using EXP-Drain guns on the stationary targets, so I take pride in all of his Mags & Gear. The other Lv200s were leveled up to around 150, then EXP-Gun'd to 200 for fun.

It's looking good for the PSP version, it sold 500k units in Japan after its release in July. I'm hoping for a local EN version soon or I'm going to have to better my knowledge of east asian languages...

My bro has played this for a long time now. It's decent.

For the longest time, Sega's service was a million times worse than SE's ever could be (if you can imagine that).

Sega didn't add any new content for months on end aside from the rare seasonal event. They just added some new content so it's playable once again.

The one thing I do like about PSU even though I don't play is they constantly raise the level cap. Each character can only have once job so this has more replay value (Blizzard should look into this for WoW).

Only one job? I recall switching from Gunmaster to Acrotecher this week. Too bad every event Sega has now is a rehash of the previous one.

Oh pso how i miss that game. The things i remember most was fighting that giant worm on that little platform and having so fun raising my mag.

You can buy the broadband adapter for like 2 dollars at any gamestop if they have it available. While I was in New Jersey last week I found BB adapters in solid black for both my GC and DC systems finally. Both were 4$ total.

Actually, as of the past few weeks Gamestops are clearing out all old last-gen games & accessories. You've probably got a better chance going to Amazon.com or Ebay.com to find some accessories, or hit up some lesser known home-owned stores like a VGexchange.

Also, I'd love to see a Dreamcast broadband adapter for $2, shit goes for like $50+ usually.

Actually, as of the past few weeks Gamestops are clearing out all old last-gen games & accessories. You've probably got a better chance going to Amazon.com or Ebay.com to find some accessories, or hit up some lesser known home-owned stores like a VGexchange.

If your lucky and you have "Flea markets" or yard sales in your area, sometimes you can pin off a dreamcast for like 20-30$, check to see if it has a BB adapter. If so buy, then you have an extra console for parts lol. I did this for my mint white dreamcast. For my black sega sports one I wen't to gstop and got lucky.

lol, I usually do the flea market thing but craigslist has proven it is pretty useful as well. I managed to get my dreamcast for $10 + 4 Controllers / VMUs from some lady selling her sons old crap. You can find some pretty decent deals on there, I picked up Breath of Fire 1 & 2 for like $10 each.

From what I had read it was basically PSO but re-relased for PC's and had access to all the DC/GC servers.

PSU is sacrilege compared to PSO.

PSOBB had its own servers, it's dead now. But yeah, same as DC, but with more stuff, and you can play it via private servers.

You can change jobs anytime you want on one character like FFXI except it costs money. Really cheap though since money drops like candy now.

My bro played Blueburst on PC for a while then stopped when it went down. One guy actually created his own BB server which was licensed by Sega not too long ago but my bro stopped using it because it was buggy as hell and kept dcing him.
