    CNN footage suggests this isn't anything close to Katrina, however they're saying 6 more hours of breath holding for NOLA to go. Looks like Mississippi / Alabama are through the worst of it. I'm going to bed, I'm sorely disappointed in mother nature for not providing me with entertainment.

    It's already Cat 2. This wont be anything like Katrina, because Katrina was more of a man than Gustav.

    Dear everyone in the gulfcoast who experienced yesterdays storm:

    A fucking hurricane just went over your state. You might not have cable / internet / power for a while. Statements like

    "I don't care about your technicians saferty(SIC intentional), I want my cable"
    and
    "But it wasn't that bad here, our power's been on for an hour now"

    are part of the reason I'm sad it wasn't as bad as it could have been. Mostly.

    Ok, i'm done bitching to the choir now.
