So much retarded shit in this thread. You can clearly see how much of a better governor jindal is compared to lolblanco just from how this storm was handled, he was on the fucking ball and i am really impressed at how he prepared the state.

It took me 9.5 hours to evacuate from old metairie, LA to quitman MS which is normally a 3hour drive. We got stuck on the interstate literally parked as the first feeder bands were coming through.

I think you're right. Some weatherguy on CNN was already hyping up Ike because they're now forecasting it to become a Category 4 now.
