No, you get a Runic Disk immediately upon entering the mission for the first time and its progress is set at floor 1.

I believe don't weapons are suppose to be rare anymore. At least not very much so. You get your weapon and you get your WS, any dedicated endgamer will have this within a year or two. But what remains rare is the completed weapon.

QQing aside, I am curious to know if floor 100 Askar/Denali/Goliard drop rates will stay at 100% (with the disc holder in the zone). There's really no reason for them to do so anymore.

No way they leave a 100% drop rate on something that can be repeated every day, when lv40 floor loot is horrible and drop 20-30% of the time

You could have it be that From EM down, the exp value drops by 3 or 5 points. Very low EPs would be 70-50 exp (about ten levels under you). DC mobs would give you values in the 90s.

Yeah, you're probably right. We've got two discs currently at 96, we'd better close those out pre-update to be sure.

When people started saying you'd need the base weapon for the WS, I wasn't sure if I believed it. Needing the weapon made sense thematically, but the update note had said something about "more casual players" which didn't exactly jive with climbing to 100 twice to make sure you got your weapon. Now it all makes sense. Very excited for this since I need 3 weapons personally not to mention helping the rest of my group.

As for the Sam WS, it doesn't matter if it sucks, it doesn't matter that every job is getting a new WS; it's something new for Samurai, so people will bitch their heads off.

I think anyone who is bitching at this point about the NI changes is just doing so because they're butt hurt over all the grinding they did in NI. Since they're all butt hurt it really shows the grind just makes you bitter and unhappy. NI changes specifically were added to help casual players access the new WSs that's totally fair, imo.

This is pretty nice though, it should be easy to get weapons for friends or linkshell members maybe. Completing everyones disc to 100 will be simple too.

4 hit crit will really beat 5 hit Accuracy, which allows you to use more STR & Attack?
