I have 4 days left on my seal and if I dont hear anything by noon I'm turning that fucker in and getting another merit to secure a rank up. I'm looking forward to this update but fuck its taking a while to find its way to us.
May be off-topic, but does anyone know how SE does the update/announcements?
Do they finish their end and release the announcement?
Do they announce what they're going to do, then work on it?
Do they announce what is 90% done for the most part and can be included in the update?
Correct me if I'm wrong, but updates come every 2 months. I'm not sure of how big their Dev team is, but if it's small, they'd only have the 2 months to make this stuff happen each time. If they have a larger Dev team, they can split up the work, so Dev Team 1 has updates Janurary and May, while Dev Team 2 has updates March and July to work on. This would give each Dev Team 4 months to work on content.
In any event, it may be worthwhile to take this into account as stuff like PW/AV/JoL may have thrown a wrench into their plans on what was supposed to be released in this update. This is assuming they weren't going to nerf PW in this update, or they were planning on nerfing PW, but definately not AV and JoL. In either case, it adds more work.
So because of PW, you may not see Job Adjustments since PW/AV/JoL got pushed to the front burner.
Wait and see...
They've been 3 months apart since about ToAU. Also we know they only have 1 team working on updates, since that's what they told us.
I wouldn't even say that announced items are limited to being worked on beginning at one update and finishing at the next. They most likely work on them for a while and when they near completion they announce them for the next update. They certainly don't throw things like Salvage together in under 3 months.
It is technically tuesday as it's based on JST offtime (which is early PST).

Lol you doubting me Kriz? They told me Tuesday but in JP time, and they were correct, which is Monday our time. And again, the reasons people should clear prior coming Monday:
1. 100% Hat drop for sure, we don't know after update will it stay that way.
2. Regardless if the hat rate is 100% or like if you warped out (30%), farming AFTER the update = more runs. As of now, it costs 1900 to go up to 96, + 500-800 in temp items depending on job I go as. So around 2400-2700 and sometimes 3000 points loss for someone to get their hat piece. Sitting around 31000, that's 10 runs or so not counting tokens I'll get back from other 100 disc holder.
3. 2 Weapons after update, 1 granted to be disc holder's job. Use of only 1300-1500 tokens when not warping. 50% more runs.
how about we just agree to disagree and drop the subject.
Regarding my friends job selection, i think thats a pretty outragous statement considering you dont even know the guy. You can hardly expect him to level anything, especially when hes not in your ls, in your static or even on your server.
for your information both our mages have Whm and Blm as their main jobs to choose from, i would hardly say they are a burden on their ls's with those jobs, god knows there is no shortage of melees when it comes to endgame events and we are completely happy with our winning nyzul setup.
Only, It doesn't make a bit of difference guys.. the balls are inert.
