NFL Week 1...It Begins

The NFL TV rules are all kinds of crazy, and really it's the only thing I'd like to see changed about the league (on a broad scale that is). Here in Baltimore we got 2 games total. Usually you get one channel with a double header and the other channel with one game. Usually that means 2 early and one late game. That can change depending on your local team and what other semi-local teams are doing. They can't show regional games on fox when the local team is playing on CBS etc. The system is immensely complicated. I'll see if I can find an old link to the page I once read that explains this. A year or two ago TMQ (Tuesday Morning Quarterback by Greg Easterbrook) wrote a big segment about the TV rules and for a few weeks I understood it all then forgot it. Oh well.

Here in Baltimore we should have had the Philly/STL game. However, since the Ravens were playing at the same time they won't air a competitive regional game at the same time. Rather than simply showing another good game (IE Tampa vs NO!) they instead just fucking show nothing. Why? I have no fucking clue.

Eh, I dont think that its the panthers playin so well as it is the chargers sucking ass. Their not playing well at all. About the cowboys being a joke, we'll see at the end of the year

Since the Boys last won a meaningful game. Since our inception into the NFL in 1995 we have won more Playoff games, gone to and won more NFC championship games and Superbowls than "Americas team". Then again every team in the NFL can say this with conviction with the exception of the Lions.

Yep and I was a fan when we were suckin ass , im happy we have a good team, its been since 98, since we've won a real meaningful game I know. And as far as superbowls, nothing to brag about , at least we've won the last 4 we were in >:O

The rams just suck. Also yes the titans have a very good defense, I was amazed at what they did to garrard.

Last season he had 3 picks all year, in 1 game, 2 already and he was on his back the whole game.
