i guess right about now Courtney Taylor or John Carlson would be good pickups looking at the Seahawks' receiving options, and Morris getting injured and all

    I had Nate Burleson
Willing to trade Brees? I might have some players that can help you out as well. I could get you Hamburger and pretty respectable receiver (I have a few so take your pick) if you're willing to trade.

Unfortunately I could only upgrade off of a trade w/ you at Quarterback so it doesn't leave me a lot of players to go after. (no one is trading LT, nor should they lol)

Yesterday, there was talk about how after Vince Young threw an interception in the game against the Jaguars he did not want to return to the action, until coach Jeff Fisher basically threw him back in the game. Now comes word from our friends at Pro Football Talk, that last night coach Jeff Fisher “feared” for Vince because he left his home at 7:30 pm without his cell phone (No athlete ever leaves without their cell phone. What if a bitch calls ?) in a “emotionally down” state. Finally at 12:30AM Vince and the coach were reunited at the team’s facility. But, the situation got ever more bizarre after that according to PFT:
The bizarre developments from Monday night regarding Titans quarterback Vince Young are sparking all sorts of questions and rumors regarding precisely what went down.

One reader points out to us that there were some wild rumors making the rounds last night on an Internet forum, as the events were unfolding. Apparently, someone was getting information from a Nashville police officer who had access to radio transmissions.

We’re intrigued by the fact that these rumors were flying not after it became publicly known that Young and coach Jeff Fisher and Metro police met at the team facility at 12:30 a.m., but while the events were transpiring.

Though we’re not going to post the rumors at this time, we think that there’s a lot more to this one than what meets the eye.

Then again, what meets the eye is confusing, at best. Why would police officers be meeting with Fisher and Young at 12:30 a.m.?
Terry McCormick of the Nashville City Paper has additional details regarding last night’s strange events involving Titans quarterback Vince Young.

Per McCormick, “[f]riends and associates” of Young called coach Jeff Fisher regarding Young’s emotional state, and Fisher called police at 7:00 p.m. local time.

He was located four hours later and met with Fisher at the team’s headquarters. Per WKRN-TV, police were present for the meeting as well.

“Given the totality of the circumstances, a bulletin was issued to all on-duty officers to be on the lookout for Young’s vehicle,” Metro police spokesman Don Aaron said. “Police negotiators were also placed on stand-by not knowing what his emotional status was.”

Aaron also acknowledged that “Young had been emotionally [sic] all day when he abruptly left his Williamson County home without his cellphone and sped away.”

We’re still confused as to why police negotiators would have been notified based merely on the fact that Young was missing, and this fact lends credence to rumors that some sort of incident occurred, possibly at the team’s facility.
Young disappears, friends worried about him, they send out police officers to find him...meets with Fischer @ midnight after the police find him.

Kind of reminds me of the whole Rampage Jackson situation.

I'm not exactly a Vince Young fan. But it sucks to hear people going through this kind of crap.

So they enlisted the help of the police to find Vince Young.

The police found him immediately, by going to the nearest "30 dudes with their shirts off, no ladies in sight" gathering.

Poor vince, succumbing to the terrible terrible side effects of receiving constant bitchassness from the media and 'fans'.

I root for the guy. It's hard enough being a first round pick at QB, but he's been shouldered with an almost unattainable amount of pressure coming off everything he did at Texas.

Meh. Rodgers' pressure >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Vince Young's 3 seasons deep.

He exhibits bitchassness at every turn.

Problem with Young is his pick in the draft was dictated entirely by his performance in one game. Don't get me wrong, a 30-2 record in college is no joke and he would have gone high in the first round, I just don't think as high as he did.

I never thought he would be the next big thing in the NFL anyways. Yeah, he threw for 6k yards and 44 TDs in college, but he also threw 28 INTs. Thats not a fantastic ratio. Not to mention his averaging about 12 rushing TDs a season was bound to go down in the NFL. It's hard as hell to rush for that as a QB, shit some premiere RBs dont rush for that some seasons.

    His motion is hideous too.

But yeah, its a shitty situation.

Only an idiot would hold Rodgers to Brett Favre standards. There is a difference between being pressured to succeed, and the pressure to be a savior.

All Rodgers' had to do was play half-way decent and win. Young was expected to turn their whole offense around by himself. And besides, Rodgers had three whole years to prepare himself for the job. Young was thrown into the fire and told to make magic.

Young doesn't have to be a savior. He needs to be a game manager. And he sucks at that too.

But this discussion is old and tired, I just came in here to make my naked dudes no girls joke.
