    We didn't all convince you. o.o;

So optimal scoring would be a lot of yards over very few catches. A couple of bombs. Which makes me lean toward for going for broke and putting in Holmes. Especially with the Ward vs Ravens secondary rivalry I'm reading about, however, he's (Ward) apparently burned McCallister pretty bad in the past.

Looks like you were leaning towards Holmes already, but decided against it. Trust your instinct!

Plus really, that TD was all Holmes and the YAC. That should've been stopped by the Ravens D.

Why couldn't my BG West team be the 2 QB league D: I've been stuck making this decision of Cutler vs Brees weekly: this week Brees vs MIN or Cutler vs Tampa. Instincts lean to Brees, but Cutler has all his original starters still, and I don't know how consistent Moore and Meachem can be

I got an offer of Brett Favre for Chris Johnson.. my QBs are Eli Manning and Jason Campbell. My RBs are Marshawn Lynch, Willie Parker, Steve Slaton, Chris Johnson, and Le'Ron McClain. I don't really think I need Favre with the QBs I have.. but I could use another WR as my best 3 are probably Lee Evans, Marvin Harrison, and Chad Johnson.. and the guy wanting to trade has Reggie Wayne, Santana Moss, and Greg Jennings. Anyone think Chris Johnson for one of those 3 WRs might pan out? Should I even do it?

chris johnson is a legit RB1. i've heard a current scout former denver GM praise him as the next marshall faulk, and while he's got a long way to go to achieve that status, it doesn't mean he's not already a star.

brett favre on the other hand: he had a great game but stick him in a game where he's behind and he'll be all over the place. before this game, a lot of analysts were calling him completely lost in his system, so i'd be a little dubious that this one game was just a fluke. i'm sure the guy trading him also realizes that his value won't be higher than it is now, so you should recognize that before you make any moves.

imo you should do one of two things:

one, wait to see if slaton can repeat his performance the coming week. if he does, try to pawn him off for one of those 3 WR's. personally i'd try to keep CJ and see if he'd bite on slaton, or slaton + chad johnson for one of those guys. wayne will get his, and moss and jennings are about as good as you can find in this year's WR group. slaton might turn out to be an awesome flex or even into a real RB1, but if you could turn slaton/chad johnson into santana moss your production is easily covered by mcclain/parker's return + moss.

the second thing i would do is try to get a sweetheart deal out of CJ. i would never trade him straight up for any one of those 3 guys. parker's injured, slaton is almost there but not quite a top guy, and mcclain is just a vulture at this point until he proves otherwise (he is getting there though). you got one incredibly consistent performer in lynch, and someone who can give you that and potential 30 point games in CJ. yeah, your WR's could be better but it'd be hard for you find a better RB situation. i wouldn't give it up too easily.

btw an interesting thing happened regarding CJ last game. he started taking lendale white's goal line touches, whereas he wasn't getting them before. so instead of white vulturing CJ's touchdowns, fisher is trusting more of those touches to CJ, and that really increases his value. imo, either keep him or get some kind of obscene deal for yourself.

And start Slaton. He's going against Indy this week. He should have a big week.

TJ Whosyourmamma (v.Dallas) or Dwayne Bowe (v.Carolina)

Palmer should be back throwing to TJ, albeit with a sore elbow. Bowe has done pretty well even with the Shit QB's on Kansas City.

Both teams will probably be airing it out a lot since they will be playing from behind.

I don't know, KC seemed pretty content with running it last week. It all probably would depend on the first quarter of the game really

Neither tbh. Bowe has no one to complement him so that is automatic Lucas and Harris double team right there and force them to run. Only difference is we can stop people unlike the Broncos.

With Johnson and Henry on the field he will have more open looks so to speak. Dallas' pass D hasn't exactly been lights out this season. If you HAD to pick either or I'd go with TJ. Not to mention lolHuard is throwing the ball, thats 2 or 3 picks right there.

Bowe does still have Tony Gonzalez out there running routes along with him. Huard's been throwing to Gonzalez more than Bowe though hasn't he?

bowe's been pretty decent all season, while TJ hasn't been even that. even if palmer was playing i'd be pretty skeptical about TJ lighting it up like he did the week prior. palmer has been looking bad all season, and a couple of reports i've read indicated he has some nagging injury messing up his timing.

both teams suck but bowe's been getting it done pretty much every week so far, even in spite of his crappy team. TJ, on the other hand, hasn't. imo the decision is kinda close but i'd lean towards bowe until TJ can show up with another nice game.

Is fantasy football cause to commit murder? The debate goes on

I've been in some pretty heated fantasy football battles. I've been in rivalry games that I really, really didn't want to lose.

But never have I considered aggravated assault with a deadly weapon as a means towards victory, and that's what makes Chet Ward of Punta Gorda, Florida a more dedicated fantasy football player than me. From the Naples Daily News:

A 35-year-old man was arrested Monday morning after he allegedly became upset over points in his Fantasy Football league and threatened to kill his roommate.

According to a report from the Charlotte County Sheriff's Office, Chester Marcial "Chet" Ward, of the 4500 block of Duncan Road in Punta Gorda, allegedly sliced pages in the book his roommate was reading before holding a knife to his roommate's neck and threatening to kill him.

The report stated the roommate, who "was in fear of his life," went to a neighbor's home and called 911.

Chet acknowledges brandishing the knife, but says he only cut his roommate's book as a joke. He says he never threatened to kill anyone. Before he could be arrested, though, the police report says that Chet ran across the road, was caught by an officer, and then tasted taser. Naturally.

Chet, Chet, Chet. Come on, man. Assuming that the allegations are true, let's stop and try to process just how insane Chet might be. Not only are we talking about threatening to OJ someone over a game of fantasy football ... but it's Week Four, man!

You can absorb a loss in Week Four. If your team is good, there's plenty of time to bounce back. This is why we save the knives for Week Twelve. In Week Four, a purple nurple is plenty.

To those who start Fumble Per Game Perry, Cedric Benson might get the bulk of carries in Dallas this Sunday.

Ok here's another tough one for me -_-

I need to start 3 of the 4 listed:

Calvin Johnson (v. Chicago), Roy Williams(v.Chicago), Chris Chambers (v.Miami), Tim Hightower (v.Buffalo).

I'm leaning towards benching Roy for Hightower. But he is starting to grumble about the number of looks he is getting, so this might be a big week for him. Chambers also had a terrible game last week though.

Hightower is starting to leach more and more Goal Line carries from edge as the season progresses. That's why I'm leaning towards him + Johnson and Chambers right now.

Is it a yards or points heavy league?
