It was all Orton. Kidding, Forte played very very well against Freeny, Sanders and that Colts Defense. They are going to be ok, it was more of a first game type of thing. Nothing I would worry about though.

I had Brady with Pennington as a backup. I claimed Cassel off waiver, but not sure I'll get him. I have a trade offer right now, and it's a shitty trade for me, but Brady's injury puts me in a situation where I have to look at getting ripped off a bit to be competitive. It's either I hope to claim Cassel off waivers, or trade off Mendenhall, Calvin Johnson, and Pennington for Phillip Rivers and Ahmad Bradshaw (Giants 3rd string RB which is useless given my RB depth). My WR depth isn't bad, I have Vincent Jackson and Bowe on the bench. So it's either Cassel with S. Holmes and Calvin Johnson, or Phillip Rivers with V. Jackson/Bowe. Mendenhall would have sat my bench the whole season, as I just grabbed him for tradebait. I don't think he'll get half the goal line carries/yards as expected because of preseason ball security issues.

I'm pretty bad in the 2QB league. I have Brady/Cutler, and Croyle on the bench. Woops. Someone is offering me Cassel for Cotchery. :/ I might have to trade Cotchery off for one of his bench guys + Cassel. Ugh. I royally fucked myself.

Yup I'm fucked in one league. My backup is Jason Campbell. I currently have an offer from one guy in my league. Favre and Isaac Bruce for Marques Colston. Which would royally fuck me on WR, but I may have to take it.

Burleson out for the season...awesome. My terrible WR core takes another hit. I'm trying to pick up DeShawn Jackson and Forte, but not sure if I'm going to be able to do it.

My team did pretty terrible this week. Peyton Manning, Bush, and Lynch nabbed me some points (Bush especially)...but Kenny Watson stunk it up, Welker didn't do sheet, and neither did Dallas Clark.

I'd still bet on Barber unless his Ribs are much worse than is being reported. Felix only got so many touches because the game was basically over, but after how well he performed I can definitely see him dipping into Barber's carries more than was expected.

Wait more until the end of this week to make a decision on Barber/Jones, right now I'd bet on Felix getting more carries seeing as how Dallas loves to rest their injured players, Newman comes to mind. Keep on the lookout for status updates on Barber though.

Well.. I was right about my TJ pick this last week. I'd say.. believe it or not I think... Favre vs New England. I mean.. I think McNabb/DeSean Jackson will have a good game against Dallas, but a repeat of the Rams affair... I doubt that. The Pats secondary is weaker this year without Asante Samuel and such. I'd go for that. He only had 75% of the playbook this past weekend. One would think he'd be even more prepared for this.

And now Colston is out 4-6 weeks. This is the first time in six years the injury bug has hit my teams this hard. My one team is basically fucked now. Lost Brady and Colston. Replaced them with Eddie Royal and Chad Pennington. Yup, I'm fucked.
