Damn that's a really nice QB setup you got there. I don't really think you can go wrong however you do it. I think I'd shy away from Ben just because they ran so much last week. I think Peyton will blow up on the Vikings so I guess I would go there, and the Packers will probably run a lot vs one of the leagues worst run defenses, where as the Colts won't be able to run nearly as much vs the Vikings.

So you're saying both the Pack and the Steelers will run a bunch? Hmm who to choose then..

and yeah, im stacked at QB. RB on the other hand....Marion is my 1, Earnest Graham is my 2 lol....it gets worse beyond that

Sorry I wasn't as clear as I meant to be. I think the Steeler's will run a lot because they do it well and will gameplan that way. I think the Packers will come out with a more balanced attack but the fact that the Lions run defense couldn't stop my paraplegic cousin they will end up with a lot of rushing yards, which will probably dip into Rodger's stats. Nonetheless, the Lions defense is bad enough to give up monstrous Fantasy numbers to both the passing and the running game, so Rodgers isn't a bad play at all (I'm completely happy starting him in my money league.). I just think Manning is the best start of the three because the Vikings can defend the run really well but have a weak secondary, so the Colts most efficient form of driving down the field will be through the air, where as the Packers and the Steelers are playing teams that showed in week 1 they are incapable of defending any runner no matter who they are.

Cliffnotes - all three are great options, in MY opinion I'd go Mannings > Rodgers > Ben for this week, but I don't really see any of the three losing you the game unless the Steelers just refuse to throw the ball. Also, if anyone in your league is short on QB's I'd try dealing a QB for a quality RB, can probably get a solid RB for Manning and you would still have 2 really stellar QB's to start each week.

As you said I don't believe Romo has a very good record against the Eagles.
    Makes no sense^^
Romo and TO lit up the Eagles last year for like 38 points. Week 14 Cowboys lost 10-6 but they had clinched home field already and Romo had a finger injury.

Also, Patrick Crayton would be the #1 WR if he was an Eagle.

I wouldn't play Felix Jones this week, he won't get much playtime against the Eagles, maybe in a few receiver plays. Barber is going to be blocking alot on Monday :D

Looks like Miles Austin is back in the game but Eagles better hope TNew doesn't play.

I'm having problems deciding between the Eagles/Cowboys game myself due to the Jessicurse, and then the Bills/Jags game as well. Sure they are at home, but half their OLine gone.. I just don't know. Pick em this week is gonna suuuck.

He's 1/3 vs. the Eagles so far. When they won last year he was on, but the other two games he played terribly. Plus Romo sucks on Monday nights. And I could be wrong, but wasn't his finger injury on his non throwing hand?

I'm not sure I get your point about Crayton being the #1 reciever on the Eagles. In the past 7 years the Eagles have had 1 dominant, actual #1 reciever (T.O.), yet still managed to make the playoffs 5 times.

    Rodgers vs. the Lions.
    Big Ben vs. the Browns.
Same deal as I said with McNabb, you don't draft Peyton Manning to start somebody else when he's playing.

I'd have tried to score big on Rodgers week 1 performance in a trade, there's no reason to be sitting on 3 QB that good and a halfass... well everything else pretty much has to be halfass to have drafted peyton + ben.

Well, for WR ive got andre johnson, wes welker, and housh, so not too bad there, though im not sure how welker is going to do now (i think he will be ok). For TE ive got Kellen Winslow.

its a bit misleading because unforuntately our league is a tiny 8 teams this year. used to be 10 but two guys stopped even trying half way through last year so we kicked em out.

ok, 8 man league is a different story, and yeah you're pretty well off otherwise

honestly I'd consider trading peyton off for the best rb you can get a hold of at this point

I'm in an 8 team league myself (along with 8 other different leagues D: ), but I don't have that big of a problem with QBs. I feel for ya.

Ok out of these 4 I have one slot. Who do I start...

    Julius Jones
    Sammy Morris
    Wes Welker
    Andre Hall

I figure Julius Jones will have a big day since he's basically the only weapon Seattle has left. But then again San Fran didn't give up a lot of rush yards last week.

Sammy Morris I think is going to see a lot of time since I figure the Pats are going to mainly stick to the run. This is another reason I don't want to start Welker, because while he's a steller receiver with Brady at the helm he doesn't share that compatibility with Cassel.

And I'm only really throwing Andre Hall in here because for some reason ESPN his projecting 11 points from him. I don't know if that will happen because of Shanahan's constant switching around of RBs.

I would expect Welker to be basically the go-to guy for Cassel, especially this weak where their big focus is going to be getting him comfortable. His job is basically to be the guy that does what they're going to put a huge focus on now.

I actually expected the same with Brady, I figured teams would be focused so much on pressuring him that Welker would become the #1 guy really.

You don't think Moss is going to be the go to guy? He can make anyone look like a pro-bowl QB, I'm scarred Cassel is just going to stare down Moss all game then maybe look to a TE.

Uh.. actually, the 49ers did give up a bit of rushing yards. I think Edge went over 100, not to mention Hightower got a few of his own yards. I just hate Julius Jones. He'd be okay to split time with, but as a main, feature back.. I don't like him.

Sammy Morris may get the ball a bit along with Maroney because I feel the Pats will want to establish the run.

Wes Welker is basically a long hand off too. I'm sure he'll get the ball some. Maybe not as much as Brady to Welker, but still a pretty good amount.

Andre Hall is a good talent, but Shanahan continues to fuck Fantasy owners up the ass with his indecision on picking a RB as a feature back soooo.. wouldn't suggest using Hall.

Do a coin toss between Morris and Welker.

Moss is a big play guy, not a go-to guy. His ability to make those big plays hinges largely on Welker's performance on its own. Not that Moss can't make ridiculous plays no matter what, but you can't do what he did last year without the defense being forced to dedicate a fair amount of focus to another guy.

Welker is basically no worse than the 2nd option on any passing play the pats run, whereas around half of Moss's time is spent drawing attention away from where the play is going to be run.

people need to get off this whole "randy moss can make any qb look good thing" does no one remember his two years with the raiders? the guy was fuckin trash and quit on his team, i mean he got moved for a fucking 4th round pick. this guy has a chance @ being the greatest receiver of all time and hes moved for a 4th round, get real, people thought he was done after his stint with the raiders. if cassel isnt able to get it done, dont be surprised when moss starts shittin the bed.

Yeah, I took Moss in an IDP league where I was picking 9th, I'm pretty worried about him turning it off and being worse than Bobby Engram whom I got in the 12th round.

Did the Seahawks get Steve Hutchinson back? No? In that case don't start a Seattle RB until um... I'll get back to you on that one

Playing against KC I like Morris to get a touchdown this week, but I also see Welker being Cassel's security blanket and if Morris doesn't get that TD I wouldn't expect much points from yardage, where as I'd be surprised if Welker got less than maybe 5rec 75 yards, which is at least around 10 points in most leagues.

His last year on the Raiders he was trash. His first year he had over a thousand yards and a good amount of touchdowns. Not amazing but still pretty damn good. But yes he gave up on them because he clearly didn't want to be there. But he was killer when he was on Minnesota.

As an Eagles fan you know I should have a huge problem with receivers who have an attitude problem, but I'm not going to deny their talent. T.O. made McNabb into a super bowl QB, and Randy Moss made Brady into a record setting QB. Yeah both had some really great years before their receivers, but you can't deny that a superior player can elevate a QBs play.

And Moss didn't shit the bed and bail on the Pats after they lost their super bowl and a bunch of key players when he had huge offers from other legit teams. There's no reason to believe he'd do it now either.

Lastly, I really want to start Welker, but I'm leaning toward Morris because I think they're going really focus on the run. I'm going to kick myself in the ass either way if I go with the wrong decision...but I think I'm going to start Morris.
