Babby goobbue wyvern replacement : )
That can fly?
I just "upgraded" to the PC version and was looking to do some dat editing, will these things be the best starting off point? How hard are they to use?
To start I'm thinking of updating some map files for Dynamis so I don't have to open a firefox window for proc information.
Edit:
I'm not sure if such a thing exists or not, but I did up a map for Valkurm for myself. It takes off things that I'm not really interested in knowing and adds in the jobs of mobs for quick reference.
Would anyone else be interested in these if I did them up for all dyn zones?
That polar galka moogle suit of uber epic is epic.
The archive isn't just a collection of tools. It also contains every tutorial (and all of the related assets) that had ever been written on FFXI DATs. Considering, the guidance you need for just about anything should be found therein.
If it isn't, I would argue that this thread is one of the most active FFXI DAT discussions on the Internet, so you can always continue posting here, too.
Oh, well that's pretty awesome.
I guess the main thing I'll have to take a look for (I don't see one specifically for this, but I bet I can follow a different tutorial) a way to replace my maps with images that I create.
anyone know where I can find the datmod for aegis to give it a catface looking like this

Is there a way to make something partially transparent with GC3? It seems to be either all or nothing, unless I am missing something.
If you can use a grey color instead of just black or white in an alpha channel, you should be able to have semi-transparent stuff. I haven't played with anything yet FFXI related, but I know other programs work that way.

Cat NIN AF pants are gross.
Recolored puffy shorts for AF2 4tw.
Probably gonna redo these with the dark reddish orange changed to the very dark grey from the AF1 and AF3 sets and the bright orangish brown highlights left alone, when I unlazy. I made them to the colors of the AF2 hands, not the rest of the set, but I think it's to much color =[ If anyone wants these point me to somewhere I can upload them for people to DL! thanks.
