I don't see why SE has any excuse whatsoever for releasing such bland weapon and armor models tbh. They need to learn from the master!
Seriously, wtf. SE, hire him. 10x better than the bland uninspired artists you have now, and he enjoys doing it.

I had to mess around a lot with the hex for the seed glow, half the glows were Hex colored, half were texture colored, and the whole thing was set to leave trails if it moved so I changed it so only some of the sparkles and some of the hexagons trail behind, while the rest of the effect stays on the staff.
One element down, 5billion to go ;;
The whole thing is actually just Graviton's ball staff, and some feathers, the butt ribbon holders, and halo from Ascendant. Also Ascendant has a glowing halo which I took the model data from and put it in my custom rotation effect block (babybo basket) and made it rotate, then copy pasted the block, made the halo smaller and made it rotate a different way (but slightly the same so it will match up at some points). Then just the seed glow.

I decided to see how arduous porting these would be, and since I can just port in hex now it takes about 3 minutes for each race. But most of those 3 minutes are spent re-adjusting height and size of the effects ><; However its pretty cool that the size of the effect can be set to auto-scale!

Oh yeah I found out Mithra of all the races doesnt have the same effect weights as the other races o.O Staff weight is 9903 for all races, but mithra is A903 for some reason. Seems weird to me
needs a gif or a video of that staff animating.

Makes me sad how ugly the magian staves are when staves like that are possible just with in-game textures...

lol Thanks! I'll try to get a video of it soon (probably after I finish the other elements). I had to do a hot fix to it, but now it automagically scales to every race and size so I dont have to do anything but go into HexWorkshop and use the replace tool to replace like 4 bytes, then it will be ported (so it literally takes like 10 seconds to port to another race). As porting is usually the main reason I dont release anything, these might actually end up seeing the light of day, hooray~
Would an automated process work for all DATs or do they need individualized work? I can image people making an automated process program for you.
I think for weapons if one could make something that changed a certain specific string of hex (FFFF ##00 based on race) throughout the entire dat it could be automatond, but I dont know anything about programming that kind of stuff so not sure whats possible and what isnt ><

Im not sure about every dat ever, but the ones im working on currently a search for "FFFF 5C00" (5C being 92, which is the skeleton number for Galka Staff) only comes up with 4 matches which are all the ones that need to be changed (if a model piece uses a different texture it has its own model block, so there are 4 textures being used on the staff so 4 model blocks)
I can tell you off the top of my head if you were to change FFFF 5C00 to FFFF 5900 that would port it to Elvaan M (it being staff)
