I habitually loose my mains every 2 years or so. I have some attachment to my original face, but not enough to make a new char every time. Thus I just switch to whatever my favorite mule at the time is.

stolen by a friend>quit+gave away account>salvage bans>friend calling a GM a nigger+IP banning>banned for copy pasting a ascii picture in ls chat while a GM was watching>sold>current.

Edit: for anyone wondering that doesn't know, I'm Odin.Sawtelle that posts on ffxiah or Runswithfafnirs in game, It just struck me this name is like 5 servers old.

lol Well it is true I tend to stray far far away from Elvaan's due to their superiority complex

but in my Dat career I have made entire armor sets for every race except Hume M \(o. O)/

(I even just made a set last night for Hume M child but not Hume M :X)

The elemental staves are so gorgeous... I want to be able to use them for my magian staves.

I don't like the inability to visually tell what elemental staff I have equipped while casting, and I feel every staff deserves its own identity element wise. I agree with everyone else that they should be hiring you -- after all, they seem to just take your ideas, butcher them, and produce them as is.

Thanks! I am leveling BRD now so expect some dats pertaining to that. Im already sick of the fuzzy easter color casting music notes (~o~; )

Ok this has my vote for worst body piece in the game. I remember when it came out I was super excited that FFXI was finally getting plaid but goddam.
I usually try to make excuses for SE about how they're not all lazy, but fuuuuuuuuuuuuuu this body piece is literally just like a tube with texture on it.
As you can see in my avatar/sig the Savant's gown has a collar that is an actual collar, you know, like it has a spot for a tie to come out.

This robe tube is like a childs dress shirt where it just make a triangle where the tie is supposed to be shown.
But I guess its fine since the tie isnt actually there, its just painted on. Its like a graphic T with a tie on it.
Everything is all fuzzy, the weird belt around the stomach followed by an actual belt of Lace? wtf is going on.
Then we have this plaid 1/2 skirt? I dont even understand. If anything in this game needs to be redone its this piece of garbage. I'd rather have another hue change of a hauberk

lol Sorry, it just blows my mind that something like that would come out this late in the game alongside stuff like Paean and Hrafn where despite not being the /most/ amazing things in the game, are still new and crisp.
That Praeco though, its like almost acceptable on Taru (for some reason they get an actual collar) but then the bigger the race gets, it looks more and more like MS paint. Like they made the texture for Taru and said aaaaaaaaaaaaaaahfuckit. just scale it up noone'll notice.

The sad thing is that it is such an interesting design that was wasted. It is a very Scottish-themed outfit, but they just kind of didn't care how it was implemented. If only we knew someone who could fix it and make it better.
