Nekosentai has an updated model viewer. Much better than the old one in terms of labeling too.

Omg, thanks! (btw I swear I'm not retarded or blind...)

And thanks guys. I don't use Altanaview to test dat mods but I do use it on occasion on behalf of friends who don't play for my sigs. They <3 mv/altenaview for that! (That reminds me, I need to poke one of them for a new sig; my current one is severely out of date...)
Anyone know offhand the DAT locations for Iridal/Chatoyant Staff? Want to use Mooshy's prism staff mod for it instead.
anyone have any experience importing FFXI models and textures into 3DS Max?
This of any use to you?

In a roundabout way, it's also possible to port things into AutoCAD in case you wanted to make easy measurements of dimensions of various things.
yeah those links help a bit, thanks.
I've already tried the .MQO plugin, but it still doesnt import perfectly. Though the rendering info I have not yet tried. Either way, check out what I've been doing with them below

yeeeeea ffxi models in a 2d side scroller made with Unreal Engine...! (I know it sucks... work in progress!)
From what I can recall the major problems stemmed from the renderer used and the fact that alpha bitmaps tend to be ignored. You might have to do that manually.
question! i tried to use the all element staff in place of hume chatoyant however the glowing thing is on the ground. what am i missing? what dat do i need that puts that in the staff?
It's not the staff that's the problem, it's the fact that it uses a custom skeleton. While I can't recall if recent changes broke it or not though, it should be in one of Mooshy's posts.
i couldn't find it. just looking for some guidance or a dat file to fix it. thanks![]()
If its the staff that changes colors over time it should work fine.. I used official skeleton and official weights so it should work.
I havent updated in forever and a day though so they may have changed it, but the most recent update I got they had changed the way battle effects work, yet the 'planetarium' staves still seemed to work (which used the same method as the all element staff).
You sure you're using the right race staff and everything?
(also if you're using any kind of edited motions etc that would mess it up too since that means youre using an older skeleton file pre-SE update)
Can someone upload the current official Skeleton files for me please?Looks like that's what i need.
Don't have the numbers handy myself, and while I know that you probably have other model swaps you'd like to preserve, a file check should do the trick.
