How hard is it to make those black katana hit effects apply to a another weapon?

Easy once you know what you're doing. Mind-bendingly difficult to do the first time. Mooshywooshy is a wizard with this sort of thing, and back around here there was a detailed discussion on effects porting, although they changed the structure of how the effects work about halfway through the exchange. His blog [here is also an excellent resource.

New to this and all that. Can I change the stance of Elvaan M holding a GK stance to the Mithra one? Or would it look all fucked up? I have no idea if that sounds ridiculous or not.

I believe that the poses have been mentioned before. I believe it a hex code thing that is up there in Storm, Kayu, And MooshyWooshys level.

It doesn't have to do with hex, the skeletons aren't compatible between races. No cross-race animation porting has been done, do my knowledge.

Nor have I heard of it being done. You would need to create new animations.

In theory it would be possible with VRS, but how to create and modify motions remains largely opaque to this day. I think like one guy understood it but he doesn't play anymore.
