Does anyone know how to mod window backgrounds? How would you put that into Model viewer to convert it to get file you can edit in PS?
Find the file using polutils
Extract the texture using changetex
* Change file format from .dds to .bmp using gc3 if you do not have an editor capable of directly editing a dds file
Edit the bitmap
Reinsert using changetex
I was wondering if there was a way of giving a pulse effect to the Xux Hat, the Chocaliztli Mask, and the Quauhpilli Helm. With the prominent gem on all three, it just seems like they need some kind of pulse effect.
Is there a way to make it so you hold your weapons upside down? That sounds kinda sweet.
Edit: As i typed my question i realized how dumb i had been <.< main hand swords are different dat from offhand...

Would it be possible to get the models for Yaskomo's Pole and Aphotic Kukri replaced with Nirvana and Terpsichore respectively? (For mithra). I assume it's fairly simple, but I know pretty much nothing about dat modding beyond copy this file over that file. u.u"
Does Uguisumaru have the same model as Honebami? Looks like it does from the icons, trying to just switch all of the new delve weapons into interesting models.
Also does anyone know the location of the new delve armor in the dats? Some of the pieces are absolutely hideous, attempting to swap them out.
Anybody have a dat location for Danzo Sune-Ate on Hume Male? On the AV list I have it shows as Yasha Sune-Ate for the other races, but for hume male its named Yasha Sune-Ate but displays as rasetsu sune-ate (124/9).

Wanna talk needle in a haystack search... Logically, it should be 125/104, looking at the other races but those appear to be pants. >_>; So throwing logic out the window...you're looking for a randomly placed pair of shoes amongst all the dats from Zilart/CoP era and if you're most people, you've done a fresh install sometime after that so you've lost a way to reduce your search area. Looking but not having any luck so far.
Not so much a needle in a haystack, open up polutils, go to where the dat should be, then scroll around the entries next to it up and down and find the one with the correct image. It's what I had to do when I realised the AV dat for an offhand darksteel jambiya (Aluh) wasn't actually the ingame offhand dat. Search through this topic, last few pages, idr where exactly, Storm gavce a runthrough of what I did a few pages back.
I remember there being 2 different Yuna sets for HumeF floating around, one had the long dress and is on more or less every dat site (Takari's dat). I'm wondering if anyone has the other set (the dress was shorter and there were no clipping issues), or has any info on where to get it. Thanks.

The only catch is that you'll weaponskill with a reversed grip also. It may look fine for say, Exenterator but if you're using Shark Bite it would look quite a bit off.
Ok ok, so is this possible: Having the character model be a giant weapon if your mainhand, and it would be weilding a tiny you holding your weapon and the tiny you is doing the melee animations. So for me, it would be a Giant ragnarok walking around with a hume sticking out swinging.
Weapons cannot be animated. So you could swing a model of you swinging a tiny weapon but it wouldn't animate. Furthermore, since scale of animation is tied to the skeleton it isn't possible to have a 'midget mode' weapon/armor set.
So how would I go about making reverse grip daggers? I wouldn't even know where to start... Would it use dagger or katana body animations? actually they may be the same I really don't remember...
