Yeah its actually pretty easy to edit your own dats. I just used the guide on ffxidats.com to get me started

If anyone else wants these feel free to ask took me almost no time to convert the hume files to Mithra

Okay, I loved the BLM Royal Redingote but I don't wear mine on BLM. I do use it on WHM, however, so I did a WHM recolor.

Has anyone taken the redingote and shortened up those idiotic flaps on the back of it? I would actually like the design of the thing if it were of a similar length to things like the BLM relic body and similar mage "coats"

I also agree that mage body, and the heavy armor body look like dooky. The mage has those idiotic flaps in the back, and the heavy armor one has that stupid shield sticking out from the shoulder. The 3rd one fits pretty well, so I'm not complaining about that one.

If somebody was willing to take on such a project like how Everdyne had already took the shield off of ALL races, and changed the mage body, I think most people would be VERY happy. And if that person wanted to release their work for later modification of colors, etc, I can see that the community as a whole would benefit greatly from this.

I'd suggest sending the modder a message if something you want isn't there. I've had my mods cleared out by FileFront without me noticing until I've checked up on them later.

TransBlack.DAT and SolidBlack.dat, replace (and back up) ROM\0\14~20.DAT (14 is Window slot 1, etc.)

It goes to 21, not 20 that's my fault. Rename TransBlack or SolidBlack to 14~21.dat and replace whichever corresponding window you'd like replaced. Hope that helps.
