Could someone PM me what the .dat is for Conflux? My comp freaks out when I see them and half the time it will completely turn off. Thinking about replacing it with a chocobo or something... it's getting really annoying especially when tracking Es'euvhi.

Careful with doing that. I switched mine with a dynamis tombstone when doing Ulhudashi for my Vere. Every now and then something would happen to cause one of my games to crash (dual boxing). I was never sure what it was, but it was annoying (and cost me 2 fangs).

Related question: I find a lot of face and hair dats make me crash when I gear swap, but it's not 100%, and it's not gear-specific. Any idea what might cause this, anyone?

Are they (or dat swapped gear that you're changing into/out of) HQ dats? And if so, are you in your Mog House when this happens? Lots of people have had this problem, myself included. Never crash outside the Mog House, and only if I change gear to/from HQ'd dats when inside. As far as I'm aware, there's no workaround to this, and it happens to people with all types of systems (so it's not that your PC can't handle it). I just got fed up with it and stopped using HQ dats. Quite a shame, as some were quite pretty. Only possible workaround is maybe doing a //bmn alwaysself on when you enter your mog house, or use Autoexec to //bmn alwaysself on in a zone that has a MH, and then //bmn alwaysself off when you leave said zones, but these are only ghetto workarounds.

They're not listed as HQ dats, no; and it's not always in my MH either. Real shame as I really like some of the dats
