What I would like to know is how much longer two people are allowed to stay in Dynamis than full linkshells. Oh? They can't? There's no increased duration?
I don't see the problem. Two people, sixty-four people, does it really make a bit of difference? As long as someone isn't interfering with a server-wide schedule that is actually adhered to, quit your whining.
Talking about being smart, please explain how you reach inside dynamis and trade an hourglass ?FAIL

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the entire premise of this thread's creation was for you to be able to whine about something you thought was unfair. You've brought your opinion to the table, and so have I.
If two people want to spend a large amount of money to, in all likelihood, get absolutely nothing, that's their prerogative. Getting your panties in a bunch because two people blocked your Xarcabard rather than sixty-four people is silly.
As much as I enjoy pointing out that Kaparu is a fucking idiot, he's right in this instance and wasn't trolling.
Back on topic, 500k is still a non-trivial amount of gil to gain access to a zone for a relatively short period of time. Small-man groups would have great difficulty gaining enough rewards (currency/relics) to make up for the cost, especially in Northlands zones.
This is, of course, before S-E releases the version update later today and fucks up relic droprates to be 100% until an emergency maintenance Tuesday morning... (Kraken Clubs in Al'Taieu anyone?)
My linkshell (a group of about 40 to 50 people) was waiting for a JP group to leave the zone. A bit before the group left the zone, 5ish JP players come to the trail markings and steal the zone the second the other group is out. We tried spamming the trade, but JP players have a second or two less delay so they broke glass first.
We called GM and were told there was nothing that could be done. From what I was told, the GM did acknowledge the fact that JP's do have an advantage at trading their hourglasses first >.>
It's not *because* they're JP, they just happen to live closer to the actual servers. There are tons of games where the servers are hosted in the US, and in those you'll have the advantage over the rest of the world.
L2 spam /item "Timeless Hourglass" <t> instead of trade windows!
People are just tired of random Dynamis zones being taken and then having to wait it out when they have a schedule. It's exactly as described above about waiting on a RDM to solo an NM. It's just that: waiting. A lot of people don't have the time to wait around, or have schedules to keep to. And when people are unexpectedly going into zones in small groups it's a great big "fuck you" to the people who are waiting, especially if they enter the zone when they already see a linkshell gathering to go in.
If they don't have time to wait, they're playing the wrong game.
I'm not justifying zone-ganking, of course. But if GroupA wants to go in during a time that doesn't cause scheduling issues, while GroupB(duo, I suppose?) gets in first, GroupA should learn to be faster, or keep their mouths shut.
Again, if a linkshell has a schedule, they do Dynamis at the same time once (or twice) a week, every week. As such, they have no knowledge that they need to hurry because it is unknown to them at the time that their zone is going to be stolen.
As the saying goes, "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me."
