It's not really his fault that the fight was messy. The only way he could get out was to break his hand and then he had to deal with a knife wielding George King.

It was pretty messy for Dexter, but I think that was probably done on purpose. This whole season has been about Dexter getting more loose with his code and taking much bigger risks, like the Miguel situation. The season started with him killing Oscar in a hand to hand impromptu fight, I think the impromptu fight with the skinner was to mirror how it started and reinforce the theme of the season.
Was a pretty good season. Nowhere near what the last two were, but still enjoyable. The end seemed too rushed though. Towards the last few minutes I was looking at the counter thinking "This is the last episode, right?". But, it ended alright and the show still rocks.
1 > 3 > 2 as far as season goes. I thought 2 started out so much better, but didn't like where it went as a whole. Three had the best writing of the 3 I think.
Is it just me or does it feel like this series will end with a future clip of dexter passing down his traits to his son?
I don't think Dexter would do that unless he finds that his son has the same dark passenger that he does.
Well of course he finds out that.
I kept wondering if that was somebody they were going to keep from the books. Granted, the 1st season was more or less in line with the books, the 2nd and 3rd seasons were completely different.
About the books:
Spoiler: show
Spoiler: show
However they do things, the writers for Dexter, book and show, never seem to disappoint me.
in the book the whole Moloch thing didn't work for me
Less Deb = More good.
They really need to cut the bitch out, I cringed at the scene where the cop ran over King;
"It's detective"
Ugh. Overall, good season, now what else am I gonna watch on Monday morning before going to work?![]()
I didnt like this seasons ending as much as I did with the first and second one, I was hoping he'd kill Ramon aswell, it would've been cool if he killed all three brothers.
Nice and enjoyable season but I agree that less Deb is better. She's annoying and always has relationship failures and PMSes each season so far. Though she might be stable now in the end...
Yea, when the author turned it into a supernatural thing, that was kinda ehhhh. It was the same thing that made his reviews tumble lol.
As for leaving any blood evidence behind at the King fight, if they did decide to investigate further, I'm fairly sure the blood would just end up going to Dexter who would switch it out. From the shot at the end with the blood dripping out, they did make it seem like it may play a larger part in the future, but who knows.
Hmm yeah I took it as symbolism as well. I guess it could be foreshadowing the significance of the blood but I think it is more of a symbolism thing, Rita not being completely white and perfect, Dexter loosening his code etc.
I like Deb... <_<... As for the blood dripping sort of thing, it's probably foreshadowing of some nature. A hidden wound still bleeding spilling into a "perfect" idea.
I like Deb too >.>
it's already been echoed... it's a boy. also, i don't know if you can pay attention, but dexter can smell a killer from a mile away. if his son has his unique qualities he will know.
