Another vista/video card topic

I've got an HP Pavillion dv6700 with Vista 32-bit home premium(yes i know) with a NVIDIA Geforce 8400M GS graphics card. I installed the 169.1 drivers when I had first got it and FFXI ran with no problems. Now I've recently been having times where the game gets choppy, but it isn't showing that my fps is dropping(sometimes). When I try and dual box both screens get really glitchy. Myself and other people around me dissapear and reappear as well as walls and the floor. A friend of mine told me to download the omega drivers, but seeing as I don't know what i'm doing i'd figure i'd get a second opinion. any help is appreciated.

Easy fix, get rid of vista.

tried installing xp but it wouldnt boot to the disc and had a whole different set of problems doing that, so i gave up.

just download the latest driver and you should be fine
