Pretty sure that icon has red "cracks" in it just like Cerberus' skin. Shadow Mantle has purple "cracks" like Dynamis Lord's skin.

All they did is change it from "Enhances" to "Augments"

You might look through the dialogue in windy or more likely, windy [s]. If it is in fact a summonable avatar (ya right), there would be quest text along with it.
