All in all, a good update... very interested in seeing which LS'es take a JoL popset up after update and try out new AV. I will need some entertainment since I will be at work from 3pm-midnight still trying to log into atleast start the download, but pol is giving me that POL0260fuckyou error

I doubt they'll let an Automaton have a 30 HP/tic regen at lowered levels...but who knows. Maybe PUP will be the cause of an emergency updates. >.>; Something tells me they'll just require BST food, jugs and Auto oil to be under the lvl cap.

PUP IS the cause of some classic emergency updates. Magic Mortar? Drain Samba? Batshit insane Curebot? All of which were great fun for the couple of days they were broken!

Relics already have aftermath effects, they just weren't called aftermath effects.

Try move some roms out of the POL folder to your desktop or something to force and error and make it d/l the new update (or just rename a few roms, just remember which files you renamned or moved in case the file check doesn't work)

Well, negative effects remain on scaled down gear eh. So much for wearing my Haub or similar gear. Those negative effects will be even worse at lower levels if the positive ones are scaled down. I know they're there to offset the positive ones but if you're going to scale down the positive why not scale down the negative to match?

-10 Defense at lower levels, or -10 eva is disastrous when you're at a lower level.

Also, they changed Ops again? For the love of god, please tell me they didnt change it back to getting the base experience only if it has 4-5 stars. That was so lame.

Seems like the SCH merits are what tier ones usually are, which is marginal tweaks for perfectionist 75s, which is fine by me I guess.

I'm thinking 5/5 modus veritas and 5/5 Helix MAB and Macc. Grimoire recast will prolly be 2 secs per reduction if it follows the SA and TA scheme which have the same recast, and can't you just use a good HP+ macro to increase your charge size with sublimation if you're saving up a full charge?

Mandragora counter attack weren't as annoying as dream flower for parties. That's probably what they're going to swipe off them.

Dream flower is annoying for parties, yeah, but counter was annoying for the lv1-5s. You go up against a mandy, and they take longer to kill and you take more damage, due to counter and guard. It's almost not worth fighting them.

But yeah, I'd lean to them nerfing the length of dream flower.

My initial impressions of the version update so far:

Level Sync (and all the low-level changes): to SE for lowering the entry bar for low-level players. This should give the game a needed shot in the arm.

AV/PW/JoLOL: We'll see... we'll see.

Scholar Merits: Helix adjustments may make them end-game capable. Maybe... an adjustment to dark/light arts would have been better in this regard.

ZNMs in general: RRAAAAAAGGGGGEEEE!!! lol

Nyzul: Epic win if the Alexandrite requirement is lowered to an acceptable level.

This update doesn't seem too promising. It's a fairly ok update just they didn't give alot of the stuff they promised like ninja JA red mage enspells and where the fuck are the new summons? Normally you wanna tell people the minimum amount of things then surprise them in the end to produce an overwhelming effect so people feel they get more out of the update. Doing the reverse results in a negative effect where people think they don't have enough because you promised them more.

Regarding Nyzul Progress:

That word "uncharted" gives me a real nasty feeling. It sounds as if:

Leader = Floor 80
Person A = Floor 0
Person B = Floor 0
Person C = Floor 50
etc.

Leader climbs from 80-85, then it appears:
Leader = Floor 85
Person A = Floor 5
Person B = Floor 5
Person C = Floor 55

I think it's possible people will still have to climb to an extent, and not just leech, but only it only updates the increments of the leader's disc. Bumping people from Floor 0 to 85 would be a bit unfair in any case, but still..

The way I read it, you need a disc to match the progress of the leader's disc to get any progression. So in your scenario no one but the leader would get their data recorded. They'd have to also have data at 80.
