Really really curious to see if they block outside cures while under the effect of level-sync. My gut tells me yes, but I see no mention of it in the notes.
I'm sure they said progress is recorded if the member's level is the same OR lower than the Disc holder's..?
Yeah they did, lol. Soooo, idk.Floor data will now be recorded for all players rather than only the player who activated the "Rune of Transfer." For their progress data to be updated, players must begin the mission on a floor equal to or lesser than the maximum level currently recorded on their disc. Provided this condition is met, progress data will automatically be updated each time a previously uncharted level is completed.
Edit: Oh wait, maximum level on THEIR disc, not the leader's disc.
Well played!
What is left from the ZNM drops that PW can drop besides that sam/nin body?
Can someone go through this with me to make sure I haven't missed something, but really if the party and the PLD makes a macro, then this following scenario in my understanding, is entirely possible.
invite all party members to level synch party. in the setup you include a PLD. the PLD gets hate in level restrictions, disbands the party, thus becoming lvl75 again. he can now keep hate with cures and sentinel enmity gear/merits and shit etc, and then invite him back into pt at 10%...
am i missing something there? apologies if I am. the exp from my understanding would not be penalised as he would not have made any physical attack on the mob after the level restriction is taken off. I could see that working quite well in the Dunes... hell, a RDM could even disband also and Refresh him and instantly join straight back. but tbh that all sounds too convenient, I must be missing something.
Surprised nobody caught this. That one word tells me they are reducing the droprate of Alexandrite. If they were going to increase the droprate they would have said "Additionally".* The number of pieces of alexandrite required to complete the quest "Duties, Tasks, and Deeds" has been reduced. Consequently, the quantity and rate of alexandrite drops has also been adjusted
Yeah, in essence, there is no skipping ahead. *You* personally need to have passed that floor, in order for you to get your disc saved to it. Which means if you want your 100% drop weapon at 100, you need to go through all 99 floors first, and then activate the rune using the job you want the weapon on. Or just hope that you get lucky with the random drop weapon.
no big suprises from the update notes.
i'm counting on the dat mining.. the stats from the new equip to deliver
holy wow!
this is a very interesting update
no big surprises! = update sucks. don't fall into the trap
A long time ago i remember hearing that if you dropped below 65 in dynamis at any time that your hourglass cancelled and kicked you out of the zone, no idea if this is true since ive personally never tried Dynamis below level 70.
Sure you can level sync yourself to avoid losing some EXP but few cases will exist where you actually have the low level person with you to sync with in most practical situations.
As in, not the leader's. But hay, don't blame for SE's poor grasp of syntax.Floor data will now be recorded for all players rather than only the player who activated the "Rune of Transfer." For their progress data to be updated, players must begin the mission on a floor equal to or lesser than the maximum level currently recorded on their disc. Provided this condition is met, progress data will automatically be updated each time a previously uncharted level is completed.
Level Sync only affects people in your party, not the entire alliance. So you'd have to waste 3 spaces in your alliance, or manage to have party leaders alive to invite these people. Exp isn't THAT hard to get >.>
Edit: and no, according to the update notes, applying Level Sync is instant; it's only taking it off that has a 30 second delay.
