I know I asked it before but... wasn't Glanzfaust +19 before this patch?

I still find it debateable how they spread MNK and PUP WS on the respective weapons. While I totally love the PUP one, a sixfold attack (which probably implies the need of high accuracy for all the hits to connect) is pretty ironic on a job which is probably the one needing more accuracy among all jobs.
Wouldn't a 2hit WS have been better for PUP?

I dunno, I'm just wondering, and I'm not discussing the fact that the WS makes me freakingly hot, since it's very cool for PUP ^^

Won't know for sure how good it is for PUP until we actually see it in action. The problem with the other H2H WSes for PUP was that they were all made with MNK stats and mods in mind, like VIT, one of PUP's lower stats (and of course not having anything nearly as good as Destroyers). A WS made just for PUP with a weapon made just for PUP has the potiental to fix both of those issues, especially with the "crit varies with TP" effect. I'd personally love a nice dex mod, and wouldn't be surprised to see it either.

I think a more interesting question is if other TP Bonus weapons are going to become more desired with these WSes. There are quite a few "Damage Varies with TP" WSes in there.

Yeah was kinda hoping to maybe get away from Martial Gun and use Coffimaker more(or the new RAtk+8 one), but guess not.

Extremely unlikely that PUP will be any faster than a good MNK... even with a decent amount of Martial Arts. PUP's access to Haste gear is pretty abysmal and it's very unlikely to be able to cap it on gear.

On the other hand... AF+1 is ok I guess (but worth spending time & money in limbus rather than ZNM for one of those other items?), while AF2 seems pretty cool.
Can't compare to Full Usukane damagewise, but there are a few pieces you may want to get for swap, or to equip fulltime in certain circumstances.

Oh and the AF2 Cape is just plain leetness.

I just hope for droprates in dreamland to have gone NOTICEABLY up. If it's like... +0.0000001% drop rate then meh... And that was one of the many reasons why people hardly wanted to "waste" 1 mil gil on dreamland dynamises rather than one of the normal ones.

I was just talking martial-arts wise. MNK get Martial Arts VI for a total of -180 Delay. PUP could in theory get up to -200 Delay IF the effect on Kenkonken really is -60. Of course we're just speculating.

That wouldn't mean PUP would > MNK, of course, -20 delay can't compensate all the huge difference there is between the 2 jobs. Still, it would somehow "pwn" MNK in a single field, and SE never allowed that so far. So we could say this would be the first time, were that that happen.

In addition to this, a weapon with +17 damage and -11 delay (those would be the stats, supposing the effect corresponds to -60 delay) seems like a bit too powerful, to my own view.

And it says "Augments" gives it an additional effect. I wonder what that will be. More than 2 rolls? Increased potency? I guess we'll find out when one of us gets it.

The was for the 1% of the time I use Hauteclaire/Macuahuitl+1 over Excalibur (Prudence, Ouryu, Faust, JOL)
