How feasible would a normal mixed melee zerg be?

Congratulations to beating AV "somewhat" legitimately without a wall-trick or other hacks. Very good job.

Now, the only thing that discourages LSes is that: Not everyone has Dark Knights with K.Clubs in their LSes.

I will wait until some LS can actually beat it without:
a.) Zerging it
b.) Dark Knights with 2 hours and Kraken Clubs

This strategy still puts about 99% of other LSes that do Sea out of the realm of possibly beating this.

And, yes, K.Club DRKs in my opinion isn't fully legitimate. It's still like rushing a monster without much thought but to kill it as fast as possible.

Not everything requires -burn-style or zerg-style rushing, there is still and has to be a more possible way to defeat AV so that the other 99% of LSes that do indeed do Sea NMs can do it, too.

I'm pretty skeptical there is any other way of doing this. Add 10 seconds onto this fight, and you're probably going from one death to a full wipe. Maybe Angon/Dia stacking will make a big enough difference for two waves of Culverin RNGs to pull it off too, but I doubt it.

There's absolutely no reason to attempt to downplay their kill because of the strategy. As of now, zerging is the only possible way, and fuck SE for making this mob that way. As for SapereAude, congratulations on a job well done. :D

As for zergs in general - yeah, I doubt SE intended for Krakeneater to work like it does, but I definitely think that they did realize that some mobs would require zergs. KV somewhat does (although not entirely), and DL almost definitely does (but apparently it can be slow-fucked if you're willing to sacrifice a hundred deaths, moreso before the double weakened patch than now).

It wouldn't be feasible. The damage isn't there when you consider AV's defenses.

SE is bitchy about AV. The fact it was originally an 18 hour fight means they don't want it to be brought down this easily. I don't think it's accurate to compare it to Dynamis Lord.
