If it was just plain zergable like Kirin and DL I don't think SE would mind as much.

But requiring a platoon of kraken DRKs to souleater it dead and only this way can AV be killed, probably will be regarded unfavorably by SE, since it's heavy on one job, and "abuses" an ability + weapon combo that leaves all other DDs out.

Only a handful of shells across all the servers can do such a feat, and SE certainly don't want to make it only accessible to them. So instead, they'll just make it inaccessible and everyone will just have to kill it the way they intended it to be killed. They're definitely not gonna go "well this shell zerged it with SE kraken DRKs, but AV's def is too high for other jobs... maybe we should lower it's def so other job can zerg too."

In the meantime though, keep abusing it! Let SE know how shitty their design and their approach to "fixing" AV is.

It definitely sounds more like Square to nerf this route than to lower his DEF and make it easier for everyone, but it wouldn't be without precedent (They decided not to force every LS to bring 50 BLMs to JoL, after all), and the changes they already made to AV and PW don't sound like Square either. AV's drops are great, but the game is far from broken if they become as commonplace as, say, Bahamut's. So let's think positive.

AV was killed many times with a squad of DRKs when it was lockable via Wynavs. They never nerfed SEBW then when they could have easily done so while constantly ninja-tweaking different aspects of AV.

I really hope these kills don't cause a widespread nerf on zerging in general. It would be so like SE to overreact and do something drastic rather than actually changing one thing.

Funny how all SE have to do if they want us to "get their hints" is just "let us know". I mean showing us 2hr v 2hr is nifty, but how about letting us know exactly what it's meant to do! Normally I'd say no, let us figure it out, but it's been 3 years, very stale.
