Confirmed: AV has the ability to use Comet and Meteor at any time after he is brought to 79%. This does not reset should you wipe and let it regen.

You definitely have to get it right the first time, and if you don't just let it depop.

MercX wipe @ 30% to Fury's AV. Took us only 14 seconds to get to 30%, but we got Meteor'd. Someone else will post a parse or something. FWIW, Amano SAM/DRK and MNK/DRK are pretty shit compared to KC DRK, even with good /drk builds.

Think we had 5 KC DRKs, some ridill/mkris, and other assorted DD's.

We'll get it next time - hopefully before nerf.

I'd never used it before because it seems irrational for any occasion, really. I tested it out earlier in the day on some aerns and the damage was pretty decent for WS's and I figured in a zerg situation that's all I'd really get to do.

I geared for HP and STR - Amano, Axe Grip, Sachet, full Askar, Justice, Bushi, Merman's (I debated which second earring to use - Cassie? Brutal? Ethereal? settled on Merman's), Rajas, BQ ring, Gigant, Sultan's Belt (another odd choice I don't use often). Used sole+1, got chaos/rogue's rolls, marchx2 madx2. Had Hasso, Last Resort, and Souleater up.

Suffice it to say, I need to level my DRK51

Edit: on our next attempt, if I'm not replaced in alliance by a DRK, I'll try /WAR out and see what difference it makes and report back.
