Valkurm run for us last night netted us the Mirage Mantle off a Nightmare Manticore. I don't have a screen shot, just a log file. Other drops were just regular Cities AF2: BLM x 2, COR x 2, NIN x 2, DRG, RNG x 2, DRK, and PLD.

Last Wednesday we did Bubu and had much better Accessories/AF2-1 drops: DRG belt, WAR -1, RNG belt x 2, MNK cape, and BRD -1. The following Cities AF2 dropped: WAR x 2, BLM, and BRD. We even made a profit on coins.

If so then that's really nice.....always hated Tav because the drop rate there is usually worst than Xarc from my own experience pre-patch.

My Dyna LS has killed it since the update and only got a 100, the only two times we have killed it we have got nothing but a 100 Byne.

First time was just before the update, second was the week of the update.

College was cancelled today, so i was able to attend Dynamis Xarc (Starts at 2:30am my time x_x). Was pretty psyched after seeing all these huge lists of AF2 dropping, yet we ended up with:

WAR, DRK, DRK, 100 and RDM

RDM was nice, but still a pretty shitty loot pool considering, guess i'm just bad luck ; ;.

How many times does in need to be repeated? Crap multiplied by 2 is still crap. How many times did you get 1 Relic from Xarcabard? How many times did you get no Relic? Those runs where you "only" got 4 or 5 Relic now would probably have been 0 or 1 before this patch. Yeah, this one run sucked, the next one will probably be better.

We were talking about this very phenomena during Dynamis today, not even a month after the patch and people get all emo over drops. People are losing sight of the earth-shaking change that this patch caused- BG has gotten more Relic from Dynamis - Xarcabard in the last two weeks that we did in the previous six months before this patch. (Hell, maybe even a year.)

You know the worst part, the absolute worst part of this? People who have never done a northlands or CoP Dynamis before this patch who will join Dynamis shells and be oblivious and ungrateful about how this patch turned Dynamis into Awesomenamis. Someone will whine that we "only" got 5 Relics in a northlands run, and I will want to reach through my monitor to try to strangle him/her, because I remember the years of only getting one BST Relic or getting nothing at all. No no, not just one time, more times than I even want to remember.

so very true. i have a year and a half span between my first three relic pieces(cities) and my last two(icelands), and now that they made dreamland drops reasonable, i can recommend doing tav to my ls and not get laughed off pearl

There are also the entirly new shells that will prolly never know what it's like to have a BSTFEETONRY-Beauc.

Ontopic though, out of 2 Xarc, 1 Beauc and 1 Qufim I havn't noticed a difference, and our farming patterns have been virtually the same as pre-patch.

To a question above, I've only seen a 100-only DL once, it sucked. I've never seen it drop nothing.

Great xarc last night with 15 people, had TH4 on everything, killed lots of regular monsters and the NMs.

In over 9 months time (since before the beggining of this year), we haven't had a Xarcabard drop less than 3 Relic Armors. And that was on a bad day, with not as much killed. Our minimum before that was 4, with 4-7 drops per Xarca. I believe our high was 9, before. Our member count has varied from 22 to 34 in that time, up and down, and I believe our 3 AF run was the one with 22.

For anyone who gets less than 3 drops in a Xarcabard run with more than ~22 people, I really have to wonder about your luck, or what you kill. Also, doing DL by means of job switching and re-entering before you get at least 4-5 drops is a foolish move, in my opinion. DL shouldn't be attempted if you can't do the entire run with the jobs for it. :/

I can see no drops with 15 people though, naturally you'll kill less and luck can just fuck you over.

Also, I've never seen a DL drop nothing; in fact all my DLs have dropped Ring or Mantle. No double drops and no coin-only drops.

I'd like to know what crack JP button you're pushing in your xarc runs. My LS consistently kills as much as possible before we make our run for DL and we've regularly seen 0-1 AF runs. Also our first 2 DL after update gave us only a 100 bill. We always have at least 1 TH4 every run.

Dont compare hydra to anything. Thats like saying "how would you compare a BJ from jessica simpson to an egg sandwich". Sure it's a really tasty egg sandwich, and sure you're really tired of eating turkey sandwiches all the time, but it's just not in the same ballpark.

If you have any chance what-so-fucking-ever to get hydra haubert, then get a god damned hydra haubert.
