It would seem that your THFs aren't doing their job. How many people do you have on average to a run?

I can vouch for this. Thursday we had a single xarc mob drop both DNC and SCH.

With your attendance, that is probably causing the difference in drops as well. We average 30+ per run and last night we got 23 drops in San d'Oria with 29 people.

Must be fun at 30+, we've only hit 30-31 a few times as you can see above. The only time I can even remotely pale that was back when we wanted to kill our first DL. Us and another shell who averaged in the 20's decided to do a joint run. As expected suddenly attendance jumped that night as our two shells managed to surface 67 total people. Yup, we hit zone cap and locked people out, but it was glorious. We barely had to "pull" anything, we just destroyed everything including generals in mere seconds each. It was amazing seeing what SE originally designed Dynamis to be like.

Now it was admittedly during the "pre-patch" era ... but we only got 6 drops that Xarc .... we just have horrible luck.

We can get upwards of 36 people or so on a run and we've been able to full clear all cities except Jeuno at that number. If you have a parser, you should parse the run to see how many mobs you're killing. This would probably have a correlation to the drops.

I used to casually parse runs just to get some people to be motivated to put in that extra 10% effort once in a while, but I tossed the data when the parser broke and then changed its format a few times. I suppose I can start doing it again now that I have full working database instead of an Excel spreadsheet that was 20 run away from running out of columns.

Either way, it'd take quite a while to get a good sample size, but its a good idea.

I've been meaning to do this myself. If you're going to do this, don't worry about anything except for the drops and the # of mobs killed.

I would agree with Zantes, either your THF are not doing what they are suppose to, or you guys arent killing very many mobs.

Trust me I won't be. One of the other reasons I didn't revive my parsing originally was the fact that I'm a mage AND I was keeping every single filter off so I could parse damage/healing. Text flew by at lightning speeds and did someone just ask me to stun something? Yeah, right. Also, since everyone was always asking "who's winning?", I had to make sure my numbers were accurate, thus I had to rest MP inside most AOE ranges to make sure I saw everyones damage/healing/etc and make sure I got up from resting if it meant following the melees.

At least now that my filters are back to a "me-centric" world, I can simply parse the drops/kills for the run, even if I'm halted to rest MP or take attendance.

I love it when dynamis rains AF all over the place. Even if half of it is crap its just more fun.

Seeing 21 drop Windursts kinda makes me wanna rage. Last few of the zone our shell's done we've been lucky to see 4 drops, which is kind of annoying when the place has a bunch of pieces you could use to make some sets storage ready and at least 3 people have 'em commented.

I find windy is a very stingy dynamis. For some reason it took me 1 year to get smn spats.... thats 1 drop in a freakin year! its a city zone it should drop way more often than that.

Stop eating chicken and maybe the Yagudo will put out for you. But yeah, I wish Windy would gives me the gloves I need so I can put RNG AF in storage.

I started keeping track of what was dropping and was surprised to see how mostly even the job distribution was across all zones, but individual zones definitely have their favorite pieces. Enough with the Cleric's Briaults already!

We don't do badly out of Windy and our SMN spats are on open lot now. We've had 4-5 in 6 months I think.

We're struggling with RDM city relic. No idea how hats are going to go, we just got our first on our third xarc run (I used to do dynamis for 3 yrs elsewhere but we started our own shell last summer). We've had 5-6 bodies drop in glacier, ut 4 pieces total of rdm relic in the cities, with 7 lotters waiting on it and one piece left the game. So soon RDM body will be open lot, whilst pld tiaras rain from the sky instead of rdm hands and brd roundlets instead of boots.

We've yet to see RDM pants.

Drops we have too many of:

    Melee Cyclas
    PLD head
    Wyrm mail
    COR gloves
BLM pants ( we have one guy left who needs and the only reason he doesn't have is he can't attend all runs and keeps missing bastok)
    BLM shoes

I don't know if it's the fact that our shell usually takes the same route but I find that we get a lot of the same drops consistently and a lot difficulty with others.

Recently we changed our Xarc route and I've noticed that we've gotten more RDM hats (compared to none previously). I'm probably fooling myself, but that's the way it seems to be.
