Just did Dynamis - Xarcabard tonight, doing just farming....and all we got was this: SAM WHM COR DNC PLD

Increased drop rates my ass.

Thats increased from our normal 0-1 drops.

The pre/post per zone difference is up above. I'd be rather trivial sample size on a per-piece basis.

Dynamis Tav today netted my group with:
COR - Xarc
BLU - Glacier
BST - Xarc
Domaru-1
and about 75-80 coins in total

Not a very impressive run but hopefully we'll have better luck in future runs.

My shell had our first 30-AF run last night in sandy (full clear). Got exactly 30 drops, with at least one of everything except BST. 5x100 + 339 coins, too.

I still plan to post a breakdown of AFs for the last couple years like Necronus did... I just have to query the stupid database.

last fridays xarc, 24~ people, TH4 on every monster, 2 and a half hours of farming

nothing dropped til about an hour and a half in... and then

SCH
DNC
PUP

all fucking rotted to people who probably /tossed for inventory...

Remember, they didn't increase city drop rates. Though in my experience, they weren't that bad anyway.

Actually didn't they adjust city droprates when they added blu, cor, and pup? I remember their wording seeming like they wanted to make sure the non-TOAU jobs still had the same chance of aquiring their af in the cities while totally adjusting the Northlands altogether. Could be wrong.

yes, basically they added the toau and wotg jobs to their own "drop slot" that's why you'll occasionally see an original AF drop alongside a ToAU or WoTG. In Dynamis-Qufim the other night we had a blue and scholar AF drop off the same monster.

as far as ice zone drop rate upgrades, they added currencies to more monsters lootpools to make it more profitable, and increased the drop rate of regular kindred monsters for AF's, not the NM's.

as far as regular zones, they just added toau and wotg jobs to the loot pools in their own slots. they did not increase the drop rates in these zones.

Well okay, but technically adding new drops w/o any adjustment on the old drops is going to change the overall drop rate is what I meant. In relevance to the thread, we should see an increase in drop rates post update when compared to pre update in city zones, but we all know how this game works when it comes to math and %'s . . .

From the admittedly low number of Northlands that we've done, I'd agree with this. We get a fair amount of AF out of Beau and our average Xarc is 2 per run.

Random number generators FTL. 99% drop rate doesn't mean shit if you keep rolling 100's
