For people that have actually broken the weapon or in the process of doing so, can we please get a little organized? I know this has been said already. But please include things like:

What SC you were doing
What WS you were doing
What assault rank you are
What floor on Nyzul you are on
How Many points you accumulated

That should be the minimum, so we can try and figure this out.

5>I didnt count my points but we were out scing for at least 3 hours. I was getting from 3-8 points depending if I opened or closed light. Would toss in a few leg sweeps inbetween since I was gettin TP much faster then the PUP.

We stopped after awhile to check what NPC said. He said bursting with energy for both of us and when I came back I did about 15 solo WSs before I got it and PUP got it after about 6-8 light SCs. We both had runic keys, so it was about 250-300 points.

I broke both Sturdy Axe and Brave blade with only 200 ws points with runic key. To the person above. If you're trying to get the quest you talk to him. If you are turning the quest in you trade him the weapon. And I assume you would need the weapon equipped but i just talked to him to get the message about how far done i was.

Points Required: ~360 solo weaponskills, 1355 points worth of darkness (about).

I was going to see if they 2250 was right for floor 61, but either my counting was way off (unlikely) or it was less, for some reason.

You started the quest. That is what enables you to start earning points for it. Trading the weapons is to finish the quest after your break the latent (ie have the weaponskill with that weapon on)

After you talk to him there will be a quest in your log under jeuno. Can confirm you have it activated that way before you waste time breaking the weapon.

ok thanks alot, i have heard that JP say if you have 0floor clears on disk need 5k points so im crying

As a heads up, I'm doing my 3000 points anyway just to prove a point. 700/3000 so far, see you in a few days.

Make sure you have a RL friend w/you so you don't kill urself if the weapon fails to unlock

Well I need 5000, so don't feel too bad. Using an alt account to spam darkness with myself. 1000 Darkness SC's? It's already been proven a few posts up you don't need a key in order to unlock, so... I guess I'll be busy the next few days! 100 sc's a day for 10 days!!!
