Updated...the 2800 confirms its over the 10% margin away from 180/5 levels, adjusting to 200/5 levels (much better fit to results):

EDIT: Least-squares line using the results for floor 96 and under points to near 200/level as well (currently shows 198/5 levels through this method):

Sorry if this is a newb question, (i haven't tried it yet though), but does anyone know if u can break weapons in campaign, all 10 that ive broken so far (axe, gaxe, scythe, staff, dagger, gswrd, h2h, club, burning fists, destroyers) were done in kuftal tunnel or the boyhada tree etc.

PS: it's a friend of mine who wants to know this, i just told him it works, but want to confirm it ^_^d.

The lack of skillup potential in campaign makes me believe that it is not possible to break latents there. Unless, you mean doing it without tags on...

I'm not sure why people would have cleared these floors and not the ones above them. You need to readjust your model to be 0, 5, 10, 15, etc. Having access to floor 41 means you cleared floor 40, and this thing is going by floor clears, not your access. There's also going to be points in between these numbers for people who have cleared an odd number of floors (say, 52 after doing 7 floors one night and exiting, or 48 if they only managed 3 and played it safe for tokens).

Someone's already mentioned earlier that the "in-between" floors like 52/53 aren't counted, only floors directly from the disc.

The difference between using 50 (the floor data is recorded to) vs 51 (the floor you can start on) is nil when it comes to these calculations--semantics only, so speak whichever you wish. I used the 1/6 numbers because that's what people have been stating here, and it seems that they would feel more comfortable with them, but again: no difference number-wise.

For clarification, if you've completed up to floor 50 and can begin on floor 51, the 51 entry applies.

note it actually probably works per single floor, as you can record progress to a single floor (you just can only START at multiples of 5). since we cant even get for sure conclusive numbers of points except for floor 100 + key, I wouldn't be ruling this out.

Just got a wep. Although my runic disk is at floor 0. My question is do I have to wait for my disk to get 90+ floors first before i start ws quest, or does the ws's required for points chnage after i except quest and climb floors?

Go accept quest, do 250 WS points, and either then:
A) decide to leave it in your locker until you get runic key(100 clear)
B) decide to spend the extra week or so and do 5250 more WS while posting your woes on this forum.

It's quite obvious that there is a huge jump from having a Runic Key and not having one. It's 250 for having a Runic Key, and reportedly 500-580 for having floor 95 cleared. This could mean that you might need 400 or 450 WS at floor 99 cleared, due to the jump, so your quote proves nothing.

Just unlocked death blossom with 20 solo savage blades and 230 points' worth of light skillchains, for 250 ws points total. I got my runic key and level 100 access just prior to attempting to unlock it.

Ok here's a new one, just curious if this has happened to anyone else or if anyone has heard of it happening. Anyhow, lvl 15 on disc (should be 20 as of other night but I'm not gonna point fingers, we all have retard moments), I've got somewhere around 2500 points racked up and I go and trade my weapon in jeuno, go figure, same marked increase stuff, so I run to port to trade up my seals and then I remember reading a post way back about the immortal sayin' something different if you just talk to him. So I talk to him, says something different, then again and he says same thing he did first time I talked to so, so seeing the change I decide to trade my brave blade again. Now I get the your almost there chat (Don't get your hopes up, it turns for the worse here) for w/e reason without zoning I trade the weapon again, right back to just a marked increase over and over every trade.

Anyhow, hope more verification that's it's definately 2.5K plus for ppl at the bottom inspires you to do what I'm gonna do and just climb, I might go hit 3k but if nothing then I'm done for sure. The thing that gets me is this, when you first log into the game SE posts this msg about how your friends, family, ect. are more important than this game but they turn around and give you quests to do that are impossible to do unless you play this game on a level that a full time job doesn't even compare to, such hypocrytically bs if you ask me.
