so someone with floor 0 keep getting ws points maybe it's 7,000 or 10,000 who knows

Got a question, I read this thread about 15 pages but I still dont find answer. Now i'm at floor 80, if I get a quest now then progress to higher floor with my disc. Do I still need to break 900-1k points or my requirement will be lowered as I progress.

Yes, if you do 250 points now and then get your key after you will automatically get the weaponskill. That's what I've been hearing at least. So you can get points as you progress.

I know it was answered, but it was somewhat stated on the first page/post

-If you have the started collecting points, and are still climbing Nyzul Isle, the weaponskill will unlock itself if your WS points match or exceed the amount needed for the current floor you just cleared.

I'm @ floor 21 which should be 4250, I'm on the 2nd message still and I lost count after 2000 pts, and I've been spamming SCs for about 3 hours now and still being on only the 2nd message. Does anyone know how close you need to be to unlocking for it to say the 3rd?

For those who have done thousands of weaponskill points that haven't bothered with trying to climb Nyzul (again for those who actually did, but did not use their disc), and are still at floor 0: do you think it's possible that you need to have at least floor 1 recorded to get the weaponskill? When you haven't used your disc at all, it's recorded up to floor 0 (duh), so I guess it's possible that you need to at least get to floor 5.

it is not floor 5, i am on floor 9 with well over 6000+ ws points and nothing.

the only thing is YOU HAVE THE QUEST. name a quest that you open but cant do?

I'm assuming by "can't do", you mean "can't do without performing certain activities". Since you can do the WS quest, you just have to climb a Nyzul disc some.

With that in mind:

The Rivalry/The Competition: Can't do with fishing or buying carp.
Intro to/Intermediate/Advanced Teamwork: Can't do solo.
Eco-Warrior: Can't do solo.
Brygid the Stylist: Almost exactly the same as this quest, in that you can start it and get up to the subligar requirement, but then can't do anything more (or pick another choice).
Beat Around the Bushin: Needs items from the 3 kings.

I know there's many, many more, but you get the point.

Not even, you just have to zone. I purposely picked that option first to be funny.

Is it possible that this equation is not linear?

Maybe it follows one formula when the data is above a certain floor, and when its a lower floor, it uses a different formula with a much steeper slope. Since people have confirmed a value for floor 40, maybe that's where this quest changes gears.

A friend of mine had a floor 20 disk and spent way more than the expected 4250 ws points to unlock it, it was well over 5000 as well. I suppose he could have counted wrong, but to be off by over 1000 points is kind of a stretch in my mind.

I honestly think this whole quest is just glitched or there is some other factor other than floor. I didn't count my points exactly, but pretty close and I swear I got insurgency at about 220-230 points while others with nyzul cleared say they got it at 250. There have been some other reports of different points at same floor save also.

Hi there new to forums i been reading and try to keep up to date with the details regarding unlocking WS.

I'm aware that you need a set amount of ws points depending to what floor you are on eg. 500 for floor 96+ 250 for floor 100 and god knows what the real number is for having a floor 5 disc.

But my question is about a possible loopole.

Basicaly when my set leader completed floor 100 we carried on from floor 1 on the same go and when we exited on floor 3 i noticed that i got a msg saying like your disc has saved (i have a floor 5 disc). i was wondering if anyone has had any better results with this quest if they carry on past floor 100 on the same run and then save?

Maybe im dreaming but this would make a great loopole. anywayz good or bad feed back would be cool cheers.
