WS points can be done anywhere, I just did 100 with quicksilver (I have runic key if it makes a difference). I brought the gun back and he said:

"I can feel a marked increase in energy compared to when I first held it. Keep up the good w-w-work, hee hee hee..."

obviously its not done yet, but I have made progress. This was done in Kuftal Tunnel.

It's probably something like you need to do X weaponskills with it for every 20 floors you are from having cleared floor 100.

How far up are the people who've gotten a different message from 50?

Friend with a disk save @96 just did exactly 50 WSes and got the next tier NPC message. So it seems to be normal WS points, which means campaign is out.

50 skillchain, or 50 ws solo?
