ok lol so in other words >.> they did not change anything.
When will people realize GMs have no correlation with the game mechanics. They are only there to help with harassment and the occasional bug.
i found it funny that he told me to drop the wep tho lol
it never hurts to ask sometimes they will give you ok info most the time not but it took me all of 30sec to get a GM on call.
Just a small request... Can the original post be edited so that it includes the estimated WS Points/Floor chart?
Also, has it been confirmed/denied that using the Weapon in Nyzul Isle gives more ws points then outside? Ex. A level 3 skillchain gives 10 in Nyzul and 5 outside of Nyzul.
Yeah no worries bozo i'll add it soon here. I was waiting on people to agree on a chart before i posted. Seemed there was still some contention about the ones that were posted.
Not to bring back a terrible argument, but since when does "this is a role-playing game!" mean "I should be able to get anything by myself!"? I thought everyone learned at Lv10 that this game is about player-interaction, as well as team work. If you plan to do anything worthwhile, you're going to have to make the time to play with some people, whether they be your friends, or random strangers. If you can't, I suggest you try another game. Not WoW though. As casual as that game is, if you can't find the time to clear a few floors every few nights, you're going to do quite terrible at doing 5-man instances at Lv70 (or 80 soon).
I'm sorry you've wasted quite a lot of time getting 7000 WS points, but from the consensus, it doesn't seem anyone without a floor saved has been able to get the new Weapon Skills. It's probably a requirement, as has been brought up, to have a certain floor cleared. All games force you to do something, one way or another, to get something you want. Either deal with it, or don't. No one is forcing you to. Either way, I can't seem to comprehend your logic behind this ridiculous idea of "role-playing game". This isn't Dungeons & Dragons, this game doesn't have infinite possibilities, there wont always be a back-door to let yourself in when the front door is locked, and you rolled like crap and failed to pick it. It's a computer game. Its programmed to function a specific way, and only that way.
Oh yeah, I also quite enjoyed how the "whining card" was a low-blow, yet you threw the "love SE" card.
Anyway, good luck with whatever you choose to do.
Don't even need six people for nyzul
Five can clear pretty consistently if you don't fuck around
Instead of actually dropping it, you could also give it to the storage NPC, which the update notes indicate will reset it.
the quest may restart or deduct points if you check your status before you have "broke" the weaponI can be noted there is a game quirk regarding Weapon Skill quest and the NPC's regarding contacting them in the wrong way to early
You never really need to trade it to npc to check anyway. Just keep goin till the ws shows up.
It cant have a minimum floor requirement. I traded in blm staff and read the quest carefully, nowhere it says anything about floors the only mention it to get greater affinity or lower your points needed.
both quest dialogue and info in quest current states all you have to do is wield the weapon and continue to use it, and eventually you get ws
i dont think there is a floor min b/c we are getting mes two so that means doing ws is doing something.
ok just talked to a good gm, ya a good one
he says far as he knows there is no floor requirment. he also said they have had reports and the development team is looking into possible bugs
but he says get weapon start quest do ws thats supposed to be all to it.
Message two as in "Bursting forth" ?
There are only 4 messages
1- Obtaining the weapon/unlocking it's potential to give you a WS
2- You have the weapon, and have used a minimum of 1 WS
3- You nearly have the WS, do a few more and you'll unlock
4- Congrats, you have the WS
Even if you do 1 WS, you'll get message 2 untill you're done.
You left out the message "theres only a trifle of energy" or something like that.
So it's supposed to be
0) initial conversation
1) you've barely done anything (I sense only a mote of energy p-p-present. You still have a long way to go, it seems.≺Prompt≻) <- this is not the initial message. This is supposed to be when you're just starting (but you have started)
2)you've done something <- this is the message most people get most of the time
3)you're almost done
4)you've done it
(edit- added actual text)
