Got Insurgency at 845 points this time (Floor 80, Captain Rank), used Calculator (TI 83+) this time, (Got Death Sickle two days ago). Also i didn't talk to NPC inbetween points / trade in.

Ascetic's Fury i got last week which took 1111 points, as seen in a few pages earlier in this thread, same floor and badge etc, BUT i used Tallies to count, so maybe that's why it was 1111 maybe miscount???

It should be noted that until you go into Nyzul and check the initial rune of transference to select a floor to start from, you do not actually have a runic disc. The first time you touch it you get a message saying that you have obtained a nyzul runic disc. My set recently completed floors 1-5, and none of them got progress recorded because of this. When we all checked the rune, one by one, and got a floor 0 disc, progress was recorded normally.

It could be that all these floor 0 people aren't getting their WS's unlocked because they don't have a runic disc yet. Maybe they should try going into nyzul and touching the rune once to get one.

ya i know i have a runic disc b/c i sent my group up to floor 6 when we started last time. still dont get how iv done 6000 points still no WS, im keep finding PTs and getting points that way.

no confirmation but I would assume that it has some kind of skill requirement. try level syncing to various levels to see if you have it below 75 at all.

Interesting thought, but unlike the trial weapon quests you do not need any skill to receive the quest.

No, but you do need to be level 75 to (initially) equip the weapon, so there may be a skill requirement around what you have at 75 (use it lower with merits maybe)

i know i have the disk, if i go the nyzul island npc in whitegate and ask about my floor he tells me 9.

so i assume i am set.

but gm did tell me a report has gone to the developers because they have got alot of calls.

I told him i had 8000 ws points and he was surprised i didnt have it, he even disappeard for 10 mins to go research the quest. He also said to just keep trying, and wait to see if a bug is found.

Maybe the people with discs less than floor 20 and 5000+ weapon skill points should get their discs to 20 and see if the weapon skill unlocks, instead of pointlessly grinding points in hopes that the next 1000 will be it.

Well i got runic key so we'll know soon enough. Can only do Compression with my npc though

It probably doesn't have a requirement on the weapon itself (as if it wasn't there you'd have no idea you were done), but what about when you turn in the quest and use the item?

The dynamis relic WS are simply granted by the weapon, and until you complete the quest, the skill is granted by the nyzul weapon. I dont think that unlocking it under level sync says if the *learned* ws (not the weapon ws) has a skill cap on it or not.

Just got my disc to floor 20 the other night, Had 5400 ws points, no unlock. Still grinding away.

great, now try using the actual completed quest version of the WS without the nyzul weapon at that skill.
