couldn't the easier way to state this be:

For floors 1 - 80

X = (14000/2^n+1)/20

Where X = number of points reduced per floor for given set of 20 floors.
Where n = Floors cleared in multiples of 20

That could be taken into this:

X = (14000/2^n) - (Y - 20(n))((14000/2^n+1)/20)

Where X = total number of points required
Where Y = highest cleared floor on runic disc
Where n = Floors cleared in multiples of 20

Using this, we could plug in floor 63 as the value for Y

X = (14000/2^3) - (63 - 20(3))((14000/2^(3+1))/20)
X = (14000/8 ) - (63 - 60)((14000/16)/20)
X = 1750 - 3(875/20)
X = 1750 - 3(43.75)
X = 1750 - 131.25 *most likely rounded down*
X = 1618~1619 *depending on if rounded up or down*

I'm still having trouble getting the weaponskill checker to work. i'm on vista and i tried the process mentioned around page 34, but i keep getting the access denied errors.

Possibly; I stated it the way that I did because of formatting limitations within forums, and the fact that excessive parentheses always make it a nightmare when a large community starts using the equation.

Thanks for doing the work on that, but it seems the JP model is working better than mine anyway, ultimately making it rather moot -_-

Make a right click on the "WeaponCheker.exe, go in "compatibility".(sorry my computer is in french, so I'll do my best to translate), and then "excute this program as a administrator", check that box, (Yes I know you are logged as administrator on your comp), apply and click ok. Don't ask me why lol, it worked for me. GL.

Anyone know why I can't get the WS checker to work?

Ive changed the run code to

I am running as administrator.

It never seems to be able to find FFXI. I've tried every troubleshoot in this thread so far and still nothing. :/

And now my POL is borked and once I leave FFXI it doesnt go back to POL .
