Expiacion > Burning Blade = Liquification
Savage Blade > Expiacion = Distortion

Is it possible that you get a normal WS point rate outside of nyzul, and a multiplier depending on depth in nyzul/runic key possession?

Guess we just need someone to get 500+ points without Runic Key. IT would make sense if it's 250 with (double for without).

If so I'm about 170/500. Mate just got GKT so guess we'll go to some more gekko>evis later to break them more.

Yes, i had key. It was around 250-300 points, but it unlocked earlier than expected (gonna say 250)



Also, you get to keep your weapon once you trade it back, for the people who planned to upgrade

Friend reported getting Blade: Kamu after 300 WS points with a Runic key.

Didn't they say that the amount of steps needed to unlock the WS would vary based on what part of the relic quest chain u were on? That may just mean u need to have runic key, but I wouldn't be surprised if there was another way... Try getting 500 WS points if no runic key? Prolly just quicker for those w/it, otherwise it's kinda pointless to have every NM from floor 1-99 drop weapons

My nyzul group hasn't been very willing to help me get anywhere with my runic disk. so It is 0

Sort of an interesting situation here, I have WHM BLM and BRD at 75 but to this point the only weapon I'd been able to get is the BRD Dagger. I only have 114 Dagger skill from levelling my THF sub, but decided to equip the dagger and talk to the BLU in Lower Jeuno to see if he'd offer the CS/Quest. Well... he did, so I guess I will be a voluntary test subject to see if I can learn Mordant Rime with... well, low Dagger skill.

I do have a Joytoy/max sword skill so will dual wield, come up with a level 2 skillchain and see if I learn Mordant after 250 points (I do have a Runic Key).

It'll be much easier to do the Club on WHM thanks to being able to do a Light but won't be able to run Nyzul till probably tomorrow at the earliest. Also have max Staff on BLM so guess that won't be too bad either.
