Stat reduction on high lv gear

Look at the gear at most of the lower level end, this gear is still decent. It's not designed to be end-game gear at level 30. The higher it goes the more gimp it gets definitely, but that is because more and more of your gear would already be useful.

gjallarhorn offers no + effects for ballad at all while in level sync tried ballad 1 at lv30 and ballad 2 at lv60

But thats all Im giving them. The way they reduced the stats is really just mediocre.

My MND+5 rings gave me +2 at 37, which is acceptable. There are MND+3 rings available at that level but I'll take this over having to mule a bunch of crap, especially since most of the time I just wear MP+ gear out of laziness anyway.

I like being able to be capped, but the gear, was just a waste of the programmer's time. They could have put that time into something more useful and just made you buy capped gear (because I intend on keeping mine).

"Converts HP ->MP" gear is one of those omitted things. So if you wear a dalm @ 59, you get def+42

So, its just giving ppl an excuse to how up gimp. Anyone using high lv gear in lv sync or lv capped zone need to show up on the gimp/confused/wtf player thread

I'm guessing the programmers spent no more than a couple hours on this. [If Player synched and level < 30 then cap stat at +1 if level < 60 cap stat at +2 if level < 75 cap stat at +3 .. etc.]

I wasn't naive enough to think that the gear would even be comparable, but the way it turned out is less than even my skeptical assumptions.

As far as doing events with friends I understand, but I still think people would have been more happy at this update if they had never even created scale down (and its eventual letDown).
