With this new Ixion and the SCH freelance's information regarding it, both Light and Dark versions are described as being part of a species of beasts. Ixion and Cerberus may be powerful, but so are other monsters, so the only thing that really makes people want them as avatars over, say, a behemoth is their name.

Yeah I'm thinking sandworms, unicorns, and some kind of aerial-based roaming monster will form this expansion's Overused HNM Model Trio. Zilart had behemoths, turtles, and wyrms, and Aht Urhgan had hydras, Cerberus, and khimairas. They can still have some contrived backstory, though. Like how cerbs are underworld creatures, hydras/khims are chimeras, and wyrms are Bahamut's minions.

Or maybe Ixion is an avatar and just split because he can do more damage that way.

Over the last few days a friend of mine and I have been recruiting AA for Windurst. We found that curing him once (Getting the message that he whines when cured) does the trick and you have to ZONE out and to it again to gain influence. We did this a few times as others have just been trying to cure him to full when in Jugner Forrest [S] which is not the case.

I woke up this morning to find AA in Meriphituad Mountains fighting for Windurst. There were way too many NPC's but I noticed that he casted AoE regen - of which I believe the level of Regen will rise with ever week that it says allied to the same nation, similar to the Curing NPC's who's cures gain another Tier for every week that your cities do not get attacked. One move that I was able to notice was Rampant Stance and something similar to Archeon Kick. Possibly has the same moves as Dark Ixion and regen.

BTW: His HP bar is hidden just like Dark Ixion.

That makes sense when you think about it since it's coded to only show hp bar if its horn is broken and while trying to gain influence to get it to join its horn it broken.

he was in Windy earlier with his horn back (no idea how he got it back) no health bar like Dark Ixion with his horn back was standing in windy for two hours before i left he never left to do any Campaign battles

No he had a horn in Jugner yesterday. He's a beast. When he attacks he had that add effect animation proc on stuff he hits. He also spams wses, and likes to charge randomly with a ton of shit following him. He's awesome and I'm glad I got him for sandy (*'-')/

Er sorry I meant, Horn if he's in cities, as in he's allied with a nation. Bad wording on my behalf. Any city on asura got this? I'm super tempted to join windy on asura since windy/sandy got a lot of things, but the placement of the mog house is the lone thing that keeps me with Bastok. Bastok's mog house is in an awesome spot, heart city layout.

I didn't see it posted before. You can have both Ixions at same place, nothing happens. Alicorn was fighting yagudos while we were killing DI.

None of the beasts sit in town when recruited. Titania, Poroggo, Ixion etc. Only seeable out in the field or in town during battle.
