New WS Properties/Modifier/Damage Testing

K i dont have any SS, cause it's late etc, but here's info on Omniscience. I was on SCH/SAM headin back to rabao but before that, I tested it SC wise. Tachi: Gekko => Omniscience makes Darkness, and same vice versa, so it's prolly in the same box as Retribution.

It did 146-336 dmg ONLY, very weak WS, BUT the magic attack down last about one minute when you use Omniscience at 100% TP (Prolly 2 mins at 200% and 3 mins at 300%). Not sure how much magic attack down it causes, but if it's potent, then it might be something fun to use in ballista when u have a daedalus wing and pwn some blms nuking power.

That's pretty terrible, seeing as how staff already sucks for skillchains.

Anyone done any concrete testing with Martial Bhuj vs Perdu Voulge for King's Justice? Apparently the multipliers may make Bhuj useful on it...?

If it's only 1.5 at 300, and all the hits after the first are 1.0, then nah, I wouldn't think that 1.25 on the first hit would outweigh higher base damage, and other potential boosts.

Bone Crusher > Stringing Pummel = Nothing
Armor Piercer > Stringing Pummel = Nothing
Knockout > Stringing Pummel = Liquefaction
Magic Mortar > Stringing Pummel = ...Gravitation

Stringing Pummel > Magic Mortar ...Nothing

Damage seems to waver from 345-844 a lot on EP birds. I got 1456 with COR rolls but that was about it. A nice replacement for not having Asuran, but fails miserably when it comes to decent SCs with your Automaton. (You'd think a PUP only WS would work really well with the Automaton rather than other players, but good old SE, reminding us once again that they're lazy faggots.)

that sounds useful, more in a limited use for melee's to zerg situation, than a zomguselesssmnmelee situation.

if even to just pop a ic wing, smack this on bahamut2, and buff the melee with crimson howl for the monthly b2 zerg.

It's light elemental, so it won't miss. I used it on Odin after a sam gave me 300 TP and it was awesome. ;o So how do I go about testing def down? Math and I are not friends.

I imagine it's as simple as getting a pld friend with high DEF gear in Ballista and hitting him with it while looking at his before>after DEF.

I'd say Stringinng Pummel > Bone Crushers looks to be pup's best option that should make fragmentation since it appears to be same as Asuran + some level one property I can't tell atm.

Shell Crusher is completly "bugged" to me. :/ The def down absolutly never procs except on Cockatrices at Onzozo and Ul'hpemdes (only mobs where I can find the message "is no longer def down" after a time). I have passed many hours to test Shell Crush and I can't even confirm the -20%, at Diorama / Ballista the effect is always "resisted" but Garland of Bliss works perfectly there and it's really a -12.5% def down. A friend at 200 def (no buffs or food) was at 175 def after the ws and at 154 def after ws + dia II.
I use it frequently at the start of some fights (where you can up tp before or I just asks a sam lol), the effect seem always function or om'yovra / nyzul-behe / tiers II jailers / etc aren't enough strong targets.

Bone Crusher is so shit though. Like, there's no way to majorly increase it's damage without making it Chim/String Clipper. :/

Plus if you're in an exp party or HNM (lol) situation, even with Inhibitor on, all it takes is one retarded melee to set off the wrong WS/SC.

I guess when you guys asked for AsuF before these WSs came around, the devs took you too literally. I suggest accepting it for the decent WS that it is, but if its poor automaton compatibility bothers you that much, SE might still be open to changing it. Not like it'll be broken if you're just aiming for a better finish (plus, ur pups %D), but I wouldn't hold my breath for Frag.

Also yeah I was going to suggest it to them, but knowing the dev team, if bringing back Pet Samba Effects breaks the game, then so will Automaton SCs. Hurr.

At least we can still make light with Dragon Kick. Honestly, I'm just glad I have a new decent WS to solo with when the Auto has no TP.

so it's completely impossible for Mandalic Stab to out damage shark bite? (2 hit, 2.0 2.5 3.0 fTP, dex50%)

unless of course there is some silly wanky secret to mandalic stab (doubtful)

Edit: guess it's just for additional skillchain options, kinda like evis is almost always a gimp DE

Unless you can not reliably land both hits on shark bite, which is what stab seems to have been made for baring the "silly wanky secret".
