Izzy's numbers have sneak attack in them as well.
Prolly shoulda said "with Sneak Attack" but bleh. Not sure if that was assumed, so saying it now:

All my tests so far, posted here, were with Sneak Attack. (unless you mean the "as well" to be...both of us using SA...in which case, this post is pointless)

Knowing you're using SA also, it would seem to put the values at MND 50% and fTP 1.0 @100 1.5@200 (guess) 2.0@300. If you could do a set of WS without sneak attack it would be appreciated.

I'll post some calculations later for this.

Noticed something odd in Campaign the other day while using Insurgency.

The picture speaks for itself. And before anyone asks, the TP return shown in the pic isn't related to the damage you see, I took the pic later. Average WS damage on these was around 600ish, to put this into perspective:

Gonna test it on Ultima tomorrow, since I never seem to need TP for Chivalry anymore...
Just tried Atonement in Campaign. It definately does _not_ force an enemy TP move. However, it did seem to make mobs use TP moves a little faster than normal, which would support the +20tp gain theory.

Edit: Also, totally awesome doing 750 WS + 750 Light Skillchains. Damage seems to cap at 750, not the early reported 720. I didn't bother trying to do any calculations, but even 300tp with what id assume was a ton of hate still produced a 750 damage result. Even still, it's higher than I can usually do on a Campaign mob, especially as PLD/RDM.

Messed around with Insurgency a bit myself and am wondering if how quickly you gain TP since the last time you used it (or another WS, even) might be contributing to the damage spikes. The above Absorb-TP shot could allude to that, but the spell itself can be unreliable, and Campaign mobs aren't the best testers, either. Anyone have access to a few Shikikoyo capable SAMs that could TP dump onto a DRK fighting a mob that could survive 3-4 Insurgencies?

I know Nyzul isn't really the best place to test but I did this on two Weapons and it didn't work. I then tested it on the same mob and still nothing. :<

I'm interested in the Absorb TP/Delay idea...Since the relic gives Augments Absorbs or whatever, it could work for TP too, meaning this would greatly increase Insurge, IF that's the case. Also the aftermath would allow you to use it quickly after the last too.

Hi all, just got 8 of the new ws yesterday. played around a bit with the whm one in campaign b4 i passeed out (2250 ws points with me and friend in last 2 days z.z). I noticed a bigger dmg difference with using meat than anything.

whm/nin i had 64 base mnd, i stacked on +62 mnd (126 total) with martial wand + kc.

with 64+17 mnd i had an avg ~150 ws on orcs
with 65+62 mnd i had an avg ~200 ws on orcs
with 64+10mnd i used meat and got up to 200-250.

I know it's not scientific at all, was just going for practical. base dmg on weapon played huge part, tried with just KC and was only doing 60 dmg ws. at work now, when i get home i'll play with some more.

I just thought about it, and unfortunately don't have time to test it right now, but maybe the spike damage from Insurgency is due to having an absorb spell effect active? Personally I've never noticed these spikes, but I rarely ever have absorb effects active. May be worth looking into.

I havent read anyone mention this, but could some of the mods for Insurgency change depending on the number of hits that land? Less hits = more dmg? Do we have tp return numbers on the big spike number Insurgencies, or am I just retarded?

Is that consistant with what +30 STR normally does (no mod)? Or should I be testing STR more? (maybe at higher TP to more easily see a difference?)

Well, testing @300 TP couldn't hurt for that.

I just got stringing pummel the other day, and I was wondering if there was any testing required for it. I'd like to help answer any questions we have about it, but I've never really tested anything like this before, so I'm not sure exactly how I should do it.

There have been rumors going around that Drakesbane enhances the crit rate of subsequent jumps. Any DRGs to verify / declare BS?

Total BS, seriously never believe any rumors perpetuated by DRGs. In other news, I havent read a drg forum seriously since december 2004 but thats another story.

    As far as Insurgency....

As DRK/SAM with 18% Haste gear, Hasso, 1x March, and Haste, I can WS about once every 30ish seconds. I noticed no difference in the damage based on gaining TP faster than usual, for example no Haste/March/etc. Nor did I notice a difference between gaining TP the "old fashioned way" or using Absorb-TP, aside from the pic I posted, which sadly is most likely totally random.

As far as I know Absorb spells don't affect the damage. Besides STR and INT I mean, which are the mods for it anyway. Then again I don't usually use them in EXP besides Absorb-TP. Maybe I'll go crazy with the Absorbs later and test it out, I could've swore somebody tested this already though. Maybe not.

The "big damage" WSs had regular TP returns. People even made it a point to mention it wasn't a DA proc. Also missing a hit on Insurgency does a noticeably less amount of damage, except missing the first hit, which is weak as hell anyway. But if you miss, the last 2, the last 1, etc. it does less damage.

Sounds like people are confusing the Mythic's aftermath of 'enhances jumps' to just be 'drakesbane enhances jumps'

Ok, working on testing to see if Stringing pummel not only has a str mod, but also a dex one as well. So far with no equip or weapon, my base stats are:

    STR 54
    DEX 72
    VIT 60
    AGI 72
    INT 69
    MND 51
    CHR 63

Also 1 H2H merit if it matters

Data I got from using SA stringing pummel on wild rabbits in west ronfaure, exactly 100 tp every time:
    140
    137
    133
    144
    150
    130
    146
    144
    133
    139

    Minimum damage: 130
    Maximum Damage: 150
    Average Damage: 139.6

    Next, Stacking Dex:

    STR 54
    DEX 72 +20
    VIT 60+1
    AGI 72+6
    INT 69+1
    MND 51+3
    CHR 63+1

I Know its not dex only, so sue me XP I made sure to keep my str the same as it was found to be 35% str mod already.

    139
    150
    147
    149
    145
    142
    145
    145
    139
    143

    Minimum Damage: 139 (!)
    Maximum Damage: 150 (hmm)
    Average Damage: 144.4 (!)

My attack was 262 for both naked and with dex gear.

After doing this, I appear to have lost my grudge against the puppetmasters who didnt test every stat... building tp with a weapon that gives you 5 tp a whack on level 1 mobs that get one shot is rather time consuming. X.x; At any rate, it seems rather odd that while the max damage didn't increase at all, the average and minimum both jumped. I figure it's due to either too small a sample size, or that there IS another mod. However, +20 dex doesn't appear to be it, though I dont know Pdif from a popoto so my opinion doesn't matter. But it seems suspicous that both average and minimum went up, and perhaps it might be one of the stats that have only +1 to it? Something that is too small to make hardly a difference, but high enough to alter the minumum/average. I suspect CHR might be it if any of them, but that would require more testing, and I have to go to bed, work, dynamis/limbus, then work again before I can test it. Any help on testing other stats, or second opinions or the like would be very helpful!

    About Primal Rend

Siyual over at KI apparently was able to break over 1100 on a TW mob with a CHR setup.

    http://killingifrit.com/forums/index...142863&st=1060

However, using a very similar setup on my bst (I am short 9 CHR pieces and novio compared to the setup posted) I have not been able to break 700 on Too Weak mobs. I think that either it was a weird glitch or that maybe some mythic weaponskills have some type of hidden bonus
